Chapter 6 - Chapter -1

"State your name and mission fletchling!" the man screamed.

"My name is 0-h3," the child responded coldly.

"My mission is to get adopted by the Goodwill family in order to get close to- and assassinate the president of Rumbia."

"Who is your allegiance to?!!" the man continued, now shooting spit.

"My allegiance is to the Brotherhood Of Alchemy." the child calmly responded.

"Good Luck fletchling!"

"May you rid this planet of humans!"

Suddenly it all went black.

The child slowly opened his eyes, a bright light obscured his clarity.

"Oh look!" a light voice said.

"He's waking up!"

He covered the light with his arm.

To his right he saw a woman, she was holding a bag of ice.

"Poor child!" she exclaimed.

"You can't be older than seven!"

His face remained still, letting her take care of him.

"Oooh, Oouch…" he said, in a fake voice.

"Where am I?" he then asked

"Oh you sweet thing… You are at Helga orphanage" She quickly answered

Then he just looked down.

"How naive is she?" he thought, his face almost looked annoyed.

"There there," she said, putting the ice on his forehead.

"Don't cry little boy" she said in a sincere voice.

"Ugh… This is worse than training." he thought to himself

As the days moved on he quickly healed and got introduced to the rest of the orphanage.

The boy rested, looking out the window, waiting for something.

Then suddenly a little girl came up to him, about the same age.

"Do you want to play?" She said bluntly.

He hesitated, then he saw a caretaker in the corner of his eyes.

"Sure…" He reluctantly said.

They eventually said town, messing about with some wooden toys.

"Gaah!" the little girl suddenly exclaimed.

"What's wrong?" he asked, in a curious voice.

"I can't figure this one out" she hastily said, before handing him over a wooden toy.

The toy was made of two parts, one square with a side missing,

and then one cylinder with a pointy top, fitted inside the square.

He tried to grab the pointy top to get it out, but no matter what he did it kept falling back.

"You are not allowed to turn it upside down I assume" he said, his eyes not leaving the toy.

"No you're not." she answered.

"hmm" He fiddled with it a bit more.

He put it down and just looked at it for a minute.

"Let me try it again," she said.

But then he quickly picked it up…

Then he started blowing on it.

Suddenly the cylinder popped right out.

Her eyes widened, but she couldn't even say anything:

"Children!" A voice suddenly said

"Gather 'round!"

"We have visitors!"

They all sat down in the large playroom.

Suddenly a tall man and woman came in the door, followed by the manager.

"Children," the manager said.

"This is mr- and ms Goodwill"

mr, and ms Goodwill starts meeting and getting introduced to the children…

Eventually it's 'his' turn.

"And who's this little guy?" Mr Goodwill says with a smile.

"Oh… This one doesn't have a name" the caretaker quickly intervenes.

"We just call him 'little man'"

"Alright…"

"How's it going little man" Mr goodwill said, reaching his hand out.

"What about his grades?" Ms Goodwill asked, looking at the caretaker.

"I have them right over here, let me just go and get them" she said, before running off.

She came back with a piece of paper.

"He has a B in mathematics," she then interjected.

"a C in English,"

"a D in physics,"

"an E in chemistry,"

"an A in biology,"

"and a C in history,"

"and an A in social studies."

"How interesting…" Ms Goodwill said,

"You would think that someone who's good at math would have been better at physics?"

They were all quiet for a second.

"Right honey?"

"Y- Yes!" Mr Goodwill quickly agreed.

"Dammit" The boy thought

"I should have aimed higher…"

"This might be too obvious"

Suddenly he just layed down and looked towards the ceiling.

"All of those experiments are soo booring!.." he exclaimed in a childish voice.

"I like puzzles more…" he said, his tone shifted.

Then he paused,

"Do you know what the greatest puzzle is, Ms Goodwill?" he said in a calm voice.

"..."

"The greatest puzzle is the mind," he said coldly.

"That's why I wanna become a doctor" He suddenly exclaimed, now in a childish voice once more.

"To help people!"

"A little doctor huh?" Mr Goodwill said with a smile.

"Goodbye children!" Mr goodwill exclaimed

"We will be back soon to decide!" he said, waving goodbye.

Ms Goodwill walked out first, with Mr in tail.

The following week 'the boy' sat amongst the children watching TV.

Suddenly the channel switched.

"Breaking news!" It read, then a voice spoke.

"The mayor and his wife - Ms goodwill both deceased!"

"Cause of death is still unknown!"

"I repeat!"

"Mr Goodwill, the mayor, and his wife…"

"Are both dea-"

Suddenly the TV shut off.

"That's enough of that," one of the caretakers said.

as the children left, 'he remained'

In the TVs reflection he saw his own face - utter shock.

"C'mon little man!" The caretaker said.

"You have to eat!"

"We will have a new guest coming over any minute."

Suddenly he heard the front door open.

He looked over to the large playroom, and a large man walked in.

"This is…" the caretaker said

"Just Edwardio is fine" the man filled in.

'The boy' just looked down at this point and he didn't care about anything.

An hour had passed, he sat all alone. But then he heard heavy steps coming his way.

A large shadow suddenly covered him.

"Who are you, friend?" a kind voice said.

"I don't have a name," the boy said coldly.

"No name!?" the man responded, before pausing.

"..."

"I shall give you a name then."

"How about this:"

"Etzio."
