### **Chapter 1: Awakening in the Metro**
**Location:** London Underground.
**Time:** 11:48 PM.
---
### **1**
A soft hum filled the metro car. Some passengers were staring at their phones, while others gazed out the window with weary expressions. The day's fatigue weighed heavily on their faces, and the city's energy had long since faded. The damp air, mixed with the scent of aged metal, lingered after the evening rain.
Leon stood by the door, earbuds in, lost in his usual nightly routine. Same city. Same people. Same dull life.
But tonight… everything was about to change.
### **2**
A man across from him was scrolling through the news on his phone:
*"Mysterious disappearances continue! The number of missing persons in the London Underground rises to 15!"*
Somewhere behind him, a mother was arguing with her son.
— You need to study when we get home!
— But I'm tired, Mom…
Leon sighed, shrugging. Just another ordinary night. Ordinary people. Ordinary problems.
Then… his heartbeat suddenly quickened.
### **3**
A sharp pain struck his chest. His breath became shallow. His heart pounded like a drum. His legs trembled.
*"What… is happening to me? Why does everything feel so heavy? Am I having a panic attack?"*
He glanced around. No one else seemed to notice anything unusual. But something was wrong.
Suddenly, the metro lights flickered.
### **4**
Passengers murmured uneasily.
— Great, here we go again…
— London's transport system is always like this.
— We're going to be late.
Leon's heart pounded even harder. His body burned as if a fever had taken hold of him. The screens inside the metro glitched, turning into static. A strange buzzing sound filled the air.
Then… complete darkness.
### **5**
— What just happened?!
— Someone turn on their phone flashlight!
— Is the system down again?!
Leon gasped. His whole body trembled as if something inside him was trying to break free.
The darkness… was moving.
### **6**
At first, it was just a shift in the shadows. Then… they started taking form.
A figure emerged—its body flickering between substance and void.
Its eyes glowed red. Its voice was low, almost a whisper, yet it echoed through Leon's mind.
— You… have finally awakened.
Leon's breath hitched. He looked around. No one else seemed to notice the figure standing before him.
*"Am I losing my mind?!"*
The shadowy figure—its form unstable, like smoke struggling to keep its shape—took a step closer.
— You're not ready yet… but it doesn't matter. You will awaken regardless. You cannot escape.
### **7**
A strange force surged through Leon's veins. It burned like fire. His hands tingled, heat radiating from his palms.
Then—light erupted from his body.
— What… what is happening to me?!
The entire metro car flashed with blinding brightness. Passengers shielded their eyes. The shadow figure flinched, recoiling from the light.
— Such brilliance… but this is only the beginning.
### **8**
Another surge of energy exploded from Leon. Light flooded the metro.
The shadow melted back into the darkness.
In the next moment, the lights returned, and the metro continued as if nothing had happened.
Passengers exchanged confused glances, unaware of what had just transpired.
Leon collapsed onto the floor, gasping for breath. His heart pounded in his chest like a war drum.
Before his vision faded, he heard a final whisper:
— I will find you again.
