The real deal is out there, waiting, planning… and Kael? He’s right in the middle of it. With his friends by his side and a whole lot of roasting to do, he’ll have to fight harder than ever. Because this time, it’s not just about survival—it’s about ending the Shadow King’s reign once and for all.

Chapter 1 - Shadows Awaken

Narrator: Ah, Ravenwood. A village so peaceful, even the crickets were probably having deep debates about life. And in this little paradise, we had Kael—our main guy, our future hero (probably), currently an expert in doing absolutely nothing productive.

Kael: "Skipping stones is an art. You just don't get it, Eryn." (throws a rock with confidence… it plops straight into the water) (plops = falls with a dull sound)

Eryn: "Yeah, sure, Picasso. Real masterpiece there. Maybe next time, aim for an actual skip?" (crosses arms, smirking)

Narrator: Just another normal day. Sun shining, birds singing, and Eryn being his usual pain-in-the-neck self. But little did they know…

Lyria: "You two should come inside. The mist is thickening." (eyes narrowed like she just smelled something fishy)

Narrator: Ah, Lyria. The walking mystery box. She always knew stuff before it happened, which was both impressive and super annoying.

Kael: "Lyria, it's just mist." (waves hand like a pro at ignoring warnings)

Lyria: "It's not just mist." (grips her herbs like they're stress balls)

Eryn: "Okay, but can you say something that's not cryptic for once? Maybe something like 'Hey, Eryn, you're really cool and handsome.'" (smirking)

Lyria: "That would be a lie." (deadpan = completely emotionless)

Narrator: Eryn clutched his chest, pretending to collapse.

Eryn: "Betrayal! Right in the heart! I trusted you!" (flops dramatically onto the grass)

Kael: (laughing) "Come on, Eryn. We should probably listen to her."

Narrator: And then… BOOM! Not an actual boom, just that feeling—a weight suddenly pressing down on everything.

Kael: "Do you feel that?" (eyes scanning the treeline like he's in an action movie)

Narrator: A low hum, almost a whisper, sent chills down their spines. His gaze locked onto the village's old oak tree. The air around it shimmered, distorting like heat waves.

Kael: "What is that?" (already walking toward it because, of course, he is)

Lyria: "No… it's too soon." (panic mode activated)

Eryn: "Too soon for what? Kael, stop!" (dives to grab him but misses by a mile) (flailing = waving arms wildly)

Narrator: But Kael? Oh no. Curiosity was his middle name. As he stepped closer, a sudden force erupted from the tree, sending him flying back.

BOOM!

Narrator: This time, an actual boom. Light exploded everywhere, blinding them.

Kael: "OH COME ON! WHY DOES THIS STUFF ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?" (flailing in confusion)

Eryn: "Dude, what did you DO?!" (squinting through the light like an old man reading tiny print)

Narrator: And just like that, life in Ravenwood was about to take a nosedive into chaos.

Shadow Soldier: "Hah… so this is where my fate led me. Trapped. In a cursed box. By a brat who doesn't even know how to use his powers. Fantastic." (slams fists against invisible walls)

Narrator: Somewhere in the depths of darkness, a low chuckle echoed.

Shadow King: (chuckles low, voice dripping with malice and deep as thunder) "Fascinating… It's been so long since something has entertained me. A boy who can't even figure out his own powers yet still manages to shake my world… I must see this for myself." (his voice sends shivers down the spine)

Narrator: But hold up—before we get too serious, Kael and his crew decided to add some extra spice. They asked Lyria to build a little robot that looked like that pathetic Shadow Soldier for, uh, "research purposes."

Kael: "Hey Lyria, can you make a talking robot version of that loser for us?" (smirking)

Lyria: (sighs) "Fine. But don't expect miracles today."

Narrator: Ten minutes later, they had a tiny, ugly robot that looked just like the trapped fake villain.

Kael: "Yo, say something villain-y." (taps the robot's head)

Shadow Soldier Robo: (in a pathetic, tinny voice) "I am the darkness… I will—"

Eryn: "Bro, you call yourself a 'shadow soldier'? More like a 'shadow sock puppet.'" (laughing out loud)

Eryn: "Nah, bro. Even sock puppets have more personality." (grinning)

Lyria: "Honestly, I expected more. He talked all high and mighty, but got trapped faster than cheap leftovers." (rolls her eyes)

Kael: "Seriously, you call yourself a 'shadow soldier'? More like a 'shadow loser'—getting boxed up by me when I'm still figuring out my own powers. That's weak sauce, man." (laughs)

Eryn: "Right on. You act like some big, bad villain, but honestly, even my grandma—who moves slower than a snail—could beat you. That's embarrassing!" (chuckles)

Narrator: And just like that, Kael and his friends set the tone for what was coming next. Meanwhile, deep in the dark, the real Shadow King smirked with amusement.

Shadow King: (in a deep, horrifying voice full of terror and entertainment) "Oh, foolish children… Keep laughing while you can. This is getting really interesting." (the darkness swirls as his voice echoes)

Narrator: Oh, buddy—things were about to get WILD.
