Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Edge of Eternity

The void was silent, save for the faint hum of existence itself. In the space between spaces, a flux of energy drifted,an entity older than time, vaster than the cosmos. It had no form, no body, yet its presence was everywhere. It was the architect of reality, the weaver of stars, the hand that had shaped the first light of creation.

But now… it was bored.

Eons blurred together. Universes were born and died. Civilizations rose and fell. The endless cycle of creation and destruction became predictable. Even the beauty of a supernova or the chaos of a collapsing dimension no longer stirred it.

Then, its gaze fell upon a small, blue planet—Earth.

Humans.

With their fleeting lives and boundless curiosity, they fascinated it. They fought, loved, and dreamed in ways it could never feel. For the first time in eternity, it felt… envy.

"What would it be like," it wondered, "to live as one of them? To feel the rush of adrenaline, the warmth of a beating heart, the sting of loss?"

The idea took root. It grew into an irresistible urge. It would become one of them. Not as a god among mortals—no. It would start from nothing. It would be born a human. No memories of its divine origin. No overwhelming power. No cosmic knowledge.

It would live as they lived. Die as they died. And understand what it truly meant to be human.

It didn't think about the future. Only the thrill.

With a thought, it dispersed its energy, scattering it across the universe. The fabric of reality trembled. Everything stood still. Then, in a flash of blinding light,it was gone.

Scene 1: A World Transformed

The world was no longer as it was.

When the energy dispersed, it seeped into the very fabric of existence. The laws of nature began to change. Magic, once a fantasy, became real. Forests grew taller, their leaves shimmering with unnatural hues. Creatures of myth walked the earth, and the skies crackled with arcane power.

In a small village, nestled between towering mountains, a child was born.

The cries of the newborn echoed through the night. The villagers whispered in awe, sensing an omen. The stars had aligned in a strange pattern. The air hummed with power.

They named him Sadis Haran, unaware of the being that slumbered within him.

The village of Eldermist was a quiet place. Far removed from the bustling kingdoms, it was a place where time seemed to stand still. The villagers lived simple lives, tending to their crops and livestock. But the night Sadis was born… everything changed.

The midwife, an elderly woman named Lira, had delivered many babies in her time. But none like this one.

As she cradled the newborn, she felt something strange—an almost magnetic pull, as if her heart was being drawn toward him. She gazed into his eyes. They were a deep, otherworldly blue, as if they held the weight of ages.

"So many babies… But this child…" Lira whispered, her voice trembling. "He's special. My heart... as if it's vibrating with his mana."

The villagers, ever superstitious, took her words seriously. They whispered among themselves, speculating about the child's future. Some believed he was a blessing from the gods. Others feared he was a harbinger of doom.

Story 1: A future healer?

When Sadis was six months old, a terrible illness swept through the village. People fell ill, one by one. Even Mara, Sadis's mother, was struck down. Tharos, the village's elder healer, worked tirelessly, but his remedies had little effect.

One night, as Mara lay feverish, Sadis crawled to her side.

He placed his tiny hand on her forehead.

A soft, golden light emanated from his palm.

Within moments, Mara's fever broke. She sat up, her strength restored.

"What… What just happened?" she gasped, looking at the child.

Sadis smiled, his innocent joy contagious. Mara, still in awe, hugged him tightly.

"If you're able to heal like this…" she thought, "maybe you'll become a great healer in the future."

Story 2: The Starry Night

When Sadis turned two, he developed a peculiar habit. Every night, he would wander outside and sit alone in the village square, staring up at the stars.

His father, Kael, worried about his son's strange behavior. One night, he followed Sadis outside.

"What are you looking at, little one?" Kael asked, sitting beside him.

Sadis pointed to the sky, his small finger tracing the constellations. "Home," he said softly.

Kael frowned. "Home? What do you mean, Sadis?"

Sadis didn't respond. He just kept staring at the stars, his gaze distant, as if seeing something beyond the night sky.

Kael, uneasy, decided not to press the matter. He carried Sadis back inside, tucking him into bed.

Story 3: The Unseen Protector

At the age of four, Sadis experienced something strange.

One day, a pack of wolves descended on the village, drawn by the scent of livestock. The villagers, armed with weapons, gathered to protect their homes.

But when Sadis, playing near the edge of the village, noticed the wolves approaching, something unexpected happened.

He stood and walked toward them.

The villagers shouted at him to stop. "Get back here, Sadis!"

But he ignored them.

The wolves halted in their tracks, their eyes lowering in submission. They whined and retreated into the forest.

The villagers were stunned. "What just happened?" one of them asked.

"Did Sadis do that?" another whispered.

"No way! The wolves probably just retreated when Kael and the others came with the weapons," someone else muttered.

Though they didn't fully believe that Sadis was responsible, a strange sense of unease lingered. There was something different about him. Something they couldn't quite understand.
