Synopsis
Hidden from the ordinary world lies a mysterious dimension known as the Anomalous World. This realm can be accessed through a rare phenomenon called a glitch, where individuals are suddenly transported into labyrinth-like rooms inhabited by anomalies—unexplainable entities that defy the laws of nature. This world is boundless; even Level 0 alone consists of an infinite space with no end or clear boundaries. Each level varies in difficulty, and survivors trapped within must struggle to survive with limited resources while facing threats from various anomalies. These anomalies are classified into several classes based on their danger level and complexity. From the relatively harmless Easy Class, which can be avoided or captured with ease, to the highly intelligent and aggressive Extreme Class, which is nearly impossible to stop. Each anomaly has unique behaviors and requires specific methods to handle, making every level a distinct challenge. The Anomaly Foundation, an organization dedicated to researching, documenting, and monitoring this anomalous world, works to protect humans who accidentally enter it while ensuring the anomalies do not escape and threaten the real world. However, the Anomaly Foundation is not the only group interested in this realm. The World Government and Human Guards have their own agendas—some seek to exploit anomalies as weapons of mass destruction, while others aim to destroy the anomalous world to protect humanity. The anomalous world is divided into zones, such as the Survival Zone, where anomalies become active and attack, and the Death Zone, inhabited by Hard and Extreme Class anomalies, where even trained agents hesitate to enter. Beyond all this lies Level Space, an infinite expanse hiding even more terrifying secrets—entities that can think and speak like humans but are far more dangerous. In this world of mystery and peril, the struggle is not only between humans and anomalies but also among organizations with conflicting visions and missions. Who will survive? And will the anomalous world remain a secret, or will it become the greatest threat to humanity?

Chapter 1 - Subjek A001E [Deadly balloon]

Subject A001E, which takes the form of a balloon, is an anomaly known as the Deadly Balloon. This anomaly kills in a manner similar to a plant, where it silently consumes the head of its prey without anyone noticing. However, it usually just floats around the Peaceful Zone, and victims of A001E are rarely found.

The Deadly Balloon is classified as an Easy Class anomaly. It can be captured by pulling or holding the string tied to it. Its behavior is unpredictable as it lacks specific traits or habits, simply floating around the Peaceful Zone.

The Deadly Balloon typically resides between the Peaceful Zone and the Survival Zone. It lacks duality, existing in a state that is neither alive nor dead. It moves continuously without ever stopping.

It usually stops moving if it gets caught on something obstructing its path. Capturing A001E does not require a large team; one or two people are sufficient. However, it is important to remember that even the weakest anomaly is still an anomaly, so caution must always be exercised.

In one of the experiments conducted by scientists at the Anomaly Foundation, a human volunteer agreed to be a test subject to understand how the Deadly Balloon becomes angry or attacks humans.

One such experiment involved instructing a person to pop the Deadly Balloon. Initially, no one was willing to do it, but eventually, someone agreed. However, before the person could even pierce the balloon with a needle, their head was gone—swallowed by the Deadly Balloon, which felt threatened and killed the person in an instant.

The scientists then tried another approach, using a machine to pierce the Deadly Balloon with a needle. However, the machine was completely destroyed, with bite marks left on it.

After repeated attempts, the scientists finally managed to pop the balloon, resulting in the immediate death of the Deadly Balloon. The scientists then developed a special containment tube to house live Deadly Balloons. The tube releases a gas that calms the Deadly Balloons, as killing one of them would cause the others to enter Angary Mode. Thanks to the sleeping gas and the containment tube, the Deadly Balloons remain calm.

Once placed in the tube, the Deadly Balloon is moved to an isolation room made of titanium steel and filled with carbon dioxide gas. This is necessary because the Deadly Balloon can trigger sparks from friction caused by its own movements.
