Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Prison Meeting (Part 1)

Before we start this story, let me ask you a very, very important question.

Although, to be honest, I'm not sure if I should ask this or not.

You see, this was the first time I had ever experienced something like this, so I had absolutely no idea what to think. But I feel like it would be best to ask anyway... Now, where was I again? Ah, yes—

Do you know what a yandere is?

I know, I know—I probably don't even need to ask. This word is pretty common, and most people already know what it means. But just to be safe, for those who might not know, let me give a brief explanation.

A yandere is someone who is deeply obsessed, dangerously possessive, and completely crazy in love. Imagine a person who is sweet and devoted on the outside, but underneath, they're unstable, jealous, and even violent. They might stalk you, kidnap you, or do much worse—all in the name of love.

Basically, it's a terrifying mix of obsession and madness, taken to the absolute extreme.

Now, this kind of thing makes a lot of men excited—horny, to be precise. And just to be clear, I'm talking about situations where the yandere is a woman.

For some reason, many men fantasize about being dominated, controlled, and even used as playthings by an obsessive, possessive woman. It's a weird mix of fear and attraction. But do I fall into that category? Well, that's classified information.

Again, I'm only talking about female yanderes here because when it comes to male yanderes, most men find them downright disturbing. There's just something about a crazed, obsessive guy that makes our skin crawl. It's not exciting—it's pure nightmare fuel.

Now, I won't go any further with this topic because, honestly, it could turn into a whole debate. People might start throwing around terms like "political correctness," and to be frank, I don't care about being politically correct.

But let's get back to the main point. Why am I asking—no, scratch that—why am I telling you all of this?

What if I told you that somehow—yes, somehow—I ended up inside a dating sim?

And not just any dating sim, but a yandere dating sim.

I know, I know—it sounds completely absurd, ridiculous even. If I weren't the one experiencing it, I wouldn't believe it myself. But I swear, it's the truth.

Even now, I still have trouble wrapping my head around the fact that this actually happened to me. It feels too bizarre to be real.

And before you even ask—because I know you will—"How do you know you're inside a game? What if you're just imagining things?"

Well, trust me, I thought the same thing at first. Maybe I was hallucinating. Maybe it was some weird dream.

But then one of the characters punched me in the face and threw me into a prison cell.

Yeah. That felt way too real.

So, I'm saying all of this while sitting inside a prison cell.

Thankfully, when they threw me in here, they didn't take my bag. I guess they didn't find anything dangerous in it. All I had were some pens, plain notebooks, two sets of clothes, two thermos bottles of water, two lighters, and two packs of tissues. Nothing that could be considered a weapon, so they let me keep it.

Before all this mess, I was heading to a mountain area for some sketching—a simple, peaceful trip. But then, out of nowhere, my vision started to blur. Everything around me became hazy, my body felt light, and before I could even understand what was happening... well, you already know the rest.

"Hey, you—the guy with the weird clothes."

A voice called out to me. It was another prisoner, locked up in the cell directly in front of mine. He looked rough—his clothes were ragged and torn, and unlike me, he was chained up. His whole appearance screamed that he'd been in here for a while.

"Yeah, man? What's up? Why are you calling me?"

I looked at him, figuring I had nothing better to do. It's not like I had a lot of entertainment options in this cell.

"For what reason did they throw you in here?" he asked.

"Well, it's a little... how do I say this? Complicated," I said, scratching my cheek.

"Complicated, huh?"

"Yeah... See, I kind of just appeared out of nowhere, and before I could even understand what was happening, one of them—the captain, Emilia Crosshart—punched me in the face and threw me in here."

"Yep. That definitely sounds like something she'd do," he said with a chuckle, then continued, "Tell me, why are you in this kingdom? It's pretty obvious you're not from here—or from any nearby kingdom, for that matter."

"I'm actually from pretty far away," I said. "A land beyond the continent."

That was a lie, of course. No way was I going to tell him that I literally fell into this world from another one.

"Wow... you're from a land beyond the continent?" the man said, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, but enough about me," I said, brushing it off. "Tell me, why are you here?"

The man chuckled, a hint of bitterness in his voice. "Well, would you believe me if I told you I was once the former general of the Fadnivas royal army?"

Huh?

Did he just say he was the former general of the Fadnivas royal army?

"Wait... by any chance, are you Hilbert De Grace?" I asked cautiously.

His eyes widened slightly in surprise.

"You've heard of me?"

So my guess was right.

"Yeah, I have," I nodded. "I've studied a lot about the countries on this continent and the important figures in them. You, for example—you're Hilbert De Grace, one of the Three Great Hilberts of the Fadnivas Kingdom. And if I remember correctly... you were falsely accused and framed by rebels for attempting treason against the kingdom."

"Finally!" He gripped the bars of his prison cell tightly. "Do you know how long I've been waiting to hear someone say that? That I was framed? That I didn't commit treason? It's a damn shame that the first person to acknowledge it is an outsider—not my own men, not my kingdom."

"That's... really sad to hear," I said, feeling a tinge of sympathy.

He let out a heavy sigh before sitting down. After a moment, he looked at me and asked, "How did you figure it out?"

"As I told you before, I've studied everything," I replied. "I know a lot of things—including the location of the rebels' hideout, their leaders, and even their members."

"Wait, you know all that?!" he exclaimed, eyes wide in shock. "Not even my spy network could uncover that!"

"And why would they?" I said, crossing my arms. "Some of them are rebels themselves."

His expression twisted into rage. "How could this happen..." His fists clenched, his body trembling with fury. "If only I could get out of this damn cell, I'd rip those rebels apart with my bare hands! I'd hang them with their own intestines!"

That gave me an idea.

"Hey," I said, leaning forward. "What if I told you there's a way—not only to get your revenge and reclaim your position, but also to get us out of this cell?"

His head snapped toward me. "Really?!"

"Yes..." I nodded.

I was about to change the entire plot of this game. This part of the story—the one I was about to interfere with—was just a side story. It wasn't supposed to have any major impact on the main storyline. But now? It was about to become very important.

"But first," I continued, "do you still have anyone loyal to you? Someone who would at least listen to what you say?"

He thought for a moment. "Well... I have a few."

"Perfect," I said. "Because today, the rebels are planning an attack on the Queen."

His eyes lit up with excitement. "And if we somehow manage to save the Queen..."

"Then everything changes," I finished for him.

"This could actually work," he muttered, his mind already racing with possibilities.

"But before we go any further," I added, "I need to know one more thing. We're the only prisoners here, right? I don't want anyone else getting involved in this plan."

"Yeah," he confirmed. "This is a new prison. We're the only ones locked up here."

That was good. Very good.

"So, who are we going to call?" I asked.

Hilbert thought for a moment before replying, "Since Captain Emilia was the one who put you here, how about her?"

I sighed. "I just hope she doesn't punch me unnecessarily this time."
