Speed Villain
Chapter 1: The Slave of Zypheron
The crowd roared as the gates of the Colosseum of Zorrak slid open. Their voices shook the air, a chorus of bloodlust and excitement. The twin moons of Zypheron-5 cast an eerie red glow over the arena, illuminating the sands stained with the blood of past warriors.
From the darkness of the gate, Kael-X stepped forward. His silver skin gleamed under the moons, muscles coiled with energy. Around his wrists and ankles, heavy Zypherian shackles glowed with a dull red pulse—a cruel reminder of his captivity. He had never known life without them.
Above the arena, in the Grand Throne Balcony, sat General Vorak, the warlord of Zypheron-5. His reptilian eyes glowed with amusement as he leaned forward.
"Fight, my pet," he called out, his deep voice vibrating through the stadium. "Show them why you are my greatest creation."
Kael-X didn't respond. He never did. There was no point in speaking. No words could change his fate.
The gates across the arena rumbled open, and his opponent emerged—a Titanus Beast, a creature of steel and muscle, standing over twenty feet tall. Its arms were massive, its claws sharp enough to cut through spaceship hulls. The beast's four glowing eyes locked onto Kael-X, and it let out a deafening roar that shook the ground.
The crowd screamed in excitement.
Kael-X took a deep breath.
Then he moved.
To the audience, he vanished.
A second later, he reappeared mid-air, his fist smashing into the Titanus Beast's jaw. The impact sent a shockwave through the stadium, and the beast stumbled backward, its enormous body crashing into the stone walls of the Colosseum.
Kael-X landed softly on the sand, his glowing eyes locked on his opponent. The Zypherian Warlords bred him to be fast—faster than any living creature in the galaxy. And not just fast. Unstoppable.
The beast lunged at him, swinging a claw the size of a hovercar.
Kael-X stepped forward, vanishing again.
CRACK!
The sound of shattering bone echoed as he reappeared behind the Titanus Beast, his fist lodged deep into its spine. The beast let out a final, gurgled cry before collapsing, its massive body kicking up a cloud of dust.
Silence.
Then—thunderous applause.
The crowd erupted, chanting his name.
"KAEL-X! KAEL-X! KAEL-X!"
But he felt nothing. No pride. No satisfaction.
Only hatred.
High above, General Vorak smirked. "You are a masterpiece, my pet. But you still have much to learn."
Kael-X tightened his fists. The shackles burned against his skin, reminding him that he was still a prisoner.
But not for long.
Because tonight was the Blood Eclipse.
And tonight, he would be free.
