It was 6 pm, and it was about the time when most people left their offices. The Man was standing next to his desk, his gaze fixed on the ground, ready to clock out from the company. He had no other plans but to head home as he left the office. While heading to the train station, he muttered to himself, "Fuck, it's a Monday afternoon, I bet the station is now swarming with people!" I think I need to buy a car... but the traffic is irritating too! I just wish I could fly home instead!" The Man didn't need to get a ticket so he went directly to use his work badge and board to upcoming train. "Look at all these people!" He said as he saw the huge crowd of people waiting down the station. He checked his wristwatch, it was 6:16, and the train was coming in four minutes. "Maybe I can wait for the next train," he said. He lifted his head to check the board, "Let me see...this one is coming in 4min, the next one in 40min? What the fuck is this delay?" He murmured surprisingly. He couldn't bear the thought of waiting 30 minutes, so he forced himself to get on this one. As the Man boarded the train, he struggled to find a small space to stand. He found it difficult to hold onto his bag with one arm while reaching for the handrails with the other. Instead, he tightly secured his bag between his thighs and steadied himself to avoid falling off. It didn't take too long before his frustration started, He kept glowering at everyone and sighing over and over. Soon, he began mumbling to himself. "This shit is so crowded we're lined up like sardines! And what the fuck is this smell?" He checked behind him and there was a tall man. "Holy fuck, there is a giant behind me!" The Man said. He looked homeless, wearing baggy jeans and an oversized gray shirt under a long black coat. He had a hippie, leather hat on his head, sunglasses, and a long black beard. Everything about him was long, clothes, arms, legs, maybe his cock too, The Man thought. "Maybe this smell is coming from that giant" he muttered. As he kept gazing around and growling at people, a sudden pain hurt his ribs. He turned back to find a man's elbow digging into his ribs. He tried to move away but he couldn't, the train was heavily crowded there was no place to escape. The Man decided to pick up the bag between his thighs and put it down his armpits to protect his ribs..." either this or this piece of shit will dig a hole before I hop out," he mumbled. As if things weren't bad enough, a child in front of him started crying as loud as he could. The child was eating and crying, he made the most annoying voices a person can hear, it was like Baby Yoda screaming at the top of his lungs. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" The man cried out in silence, "This shit will pierce my eardrums!" He couldn't handle all of this disturbance, then he decided to hop off the train as soon as he could. In a rush, he escaped that hell of a prison and stepped into the free world. He looked at his wristwatch, it was 6:45 pm but he hadn't yet reached his destination. "I'm fucking tired!" he sighed. The man sat down to rest a little bit, then he decided to go for a walk and wander through the garden near the station despite his thirst for home. Mondays were the worst days of the week, even though the Man is consistently depressed, Mondays held a unique melancholic aura for him, it was like the starting point of an ending cycle of despair. His affection was solely focused on Friday nights, but each time the week started, his depression worsened. That was the life of a lonely man, drowning in a black hole full of despair. Yet, he had a hope that something would break this cycle someday. The Man went to a coffee shop and ordered a Cappuccino. After he settled his bill, he started wandering in the garden. It was full of couples of different ages, all cherishing their moments. He didn't really pay attention to all of these things. He hadn't had a lover for a long time, and such loneliness made him lose sight of this pleasure. However, deep down he envied every one of them. "I hope I'm not drawing any attention walking alone in here..." he said as he didn't realize that nobody was looking at him or paying any attention to his existence. After a while, his frustrations started again, and soon he began complaining and nagging once more. "Why didn't I stay at the train and go home?" He mumbled to himself, "Look at me now, walking around like a fool in this garden...I bet everyone is making fun of me right now!" Inside his head, there were endless voices and echoes tearing him down. "Oh look there is that fucking lonely piece of shit excuse of a human walking around holding his cup of coffee...Oh God! he looks disgusting... does he ever look in the mirror? Well yes! I do, and I wish I could make that image disappear one day!" He tossed his cup of coffee and started walking back to exit the garden. "Did I just waste my money like that?" he said, This is the worst Monday ever..." As if he didn't say the same thing every Monday. Shortly, he decided it was time to go home, he was only two stations away from home, so he went to get a taxi nearby. As he hopped in one, he checked his wristwatch only to realize it was stuck at 6:45. "Good God!" he stated, "one thing after another!" He took it out and placed it in his pocket. "I'll fix it later!" he decided as the taxi drove away.Â
