Immediately Cecilia felt the intensity of Ramos' rage.
The air around them grew heavy, suffocating.
Before, since Ramos hadn't fully regain his power, she had believed that if it ever came to a fight, she could win.
But now? Now, she wasn't so sure.
If she fought Ramos now… she might die.
Her hands trembled slightly as she watched him.
This only made her wonder—just how fast was Ramos evolving just a one percent?
It was one thing to possess the Master's power, but it was another thing to wield the Master's skills.
And Ramos knew this, that was why he was so angry.
Because he understood just how precious those skills were.
Slowly, Ramos took a deep breath.
He calmed himself.
Then, in a low, firm voice, he spoke.
"I will attend the academy tomorrow."
"There is no time to waste."
With that, he turned and walked away.
As Ramos walked to his chamber, his mind was in turmoil.
He couldn't believe how drastically his life had changed.
From a bullied boy, suffering under his drunk stepfather's fists, to waking up as a Primordial God in a world he hadn't even thought existed.
It was fascinating—almost unbelievable, but one thing remained.
He was still in danger in this world, far more danger that he would ever imagine.
Ramos made a sudden turn, heading straight to the library.
He needed to see it for himself.
When he arrived, his worst fears were confirmed.
Everything. Burnt, Every book, every scroll—turned to ashes.
At that moment his fists clenched.
Yet, deep down, he understood why Finn had done it.
Finn had thought he was dead.
And if Finn truly believed that… then burning the library had been a logical move.
It was a way to ensure that no one else could gain access to those skills.
A way to prevent the outside world from using his knowledge to grow stronger.
Even though those skills alone wouldn't bring anyone close to his supremacy, they still had the potential to make some people dangerously powerful.
Without wasting anymore time Ramos returned to his room, his thoughts still racing.
He didn't have the Vampire Lord's full power or skills.
But he did have something.
One ability.
One skill.
The ability to grow—to reach the strength of the Vampire Lord.
And the skill to evolve anything he learned to its maximum potential.
With these, attending the Ramos Defense Academy was his only path forward.
Whatever skills he learned there, he wouldn't just grasp them.
He would master them completely.
Ramos sat on his bed, exhaustion creeping into his bones.
But there was no time to rest.
With the knowledge he had received from the Vampire Lord, he knew the truth.
The Hell Gates would fully open in a month.
And if he wasn't ready by then… this world wouldn't survive.
**
It was the next morning.
A sharp knock on the door woke him up.
Ramos dragged himself up, moving toward the entrance.
When he opened it, his eyes narrowed slightly.
It was Cecilia.
Behind her—several large luggages.
Ramos stared at them, confused.
Where did they come from? And more importantly…
What was Cecilia doing with them?
Without wasting anymore time Cecilia greeted Ramos respectfully before speaking in a serious tone.
"Since no one must know about your return, I've decided we have to move out of this house."
Ramos raised an eyebrow.
Cecilia continued, "We will rent a place close to the academy. But of course, only you will be staying there. If anyone sees me associating with you, they might start digging for information."
At that moment Ramos folded his arms.
"And the luggages?"
Cecilia smiled.
"They contain your clothes and personal belongings. I didn't sleep last night—I resized all your clothes to fit your teenage body."
Hearing what she just said.
Ramos gave her a small nod.
Normally, he would have shown his appreciation—at least, that's what he might have done in his previous world.
But he had learned something in that life.
People were only nice when they wanted something in return.
Even though Cecilia had sworn an oath never to betray him, he still wasn't completely sure about her, however the vampire body and mind he also gotten, made everything worse.
Without being told he could tell he was a proud man.
Cecilia suddenly smiled brightly.
"Master Ramos, you should go freshen up."
Her tone was casual, but then—
"We need to leave for the academy. Today is the last day of registration for those who have awakened their abilities."
She paused.
"And… it closes in five seconds."
