Chapter 1: The Black Stone
A cold breeze swept across the mountains of Kaung, where the world's greatest scientists and elite gathered. Deep underground, in a vast and complex research facility, Suteil walked with a quiet confidence. His long, white hair flowed behind him, and his sharp features, paired with his lean yet well-built physique, gave him an air of charisma. At just 22 years old, he had already made groundbreaking contributions to science.
As he moved through the dimly lit corridors, he encountered Clid, a fellow scientist.
"Clid, how is the experiment progressing?" Suteil asked.
"We're still running tests, sir, but the results so far are positive," Clid replied.
"Good. Inform me immediately if there's any anomaly."
"Yes, sir."
Suddenly, the heavy metal doors slammed open with a loud bang. A towering man stepped in—General Embarkov. His stern face was marked by a deep scar on his neck, a wound so severe that no one understood how he had survived.
"Suteil, what's the progress on the project?"
"It's still in the testing phase, sir."
"Speed it up. We need precision, but delays are not an option. Understood?"
"Understood, sir."
Suteil made his way to the project's main site, where a massive, pitch-black rock stood at the center of the research chamber. It was an eerie sight—no matter how much light shone on it, the stone seemed to absorb it completely.
"Every time I see it, I'm certain… this thing devours light."
Clid stood beside him, studying the data.
"What exactly are we trying to do with this?"
Suteil smirked. "Simple. We want to exploit the strange dark energy surrounding this rock."
This project had been running for three years on Planet Rey, an unforgiving world known for its extreme climate. When the sun was up, temperatures soared to 80°C, and when night fell, they plummeted to -90°C. The oxygen levels were dangerously low, forcing humans to rely on advanced technology and the planet's rare jungle ecosystems to survive.
Yet, despite these harsh conditions, Rey had undergone a revolution 50 years ago. King Karyu, a visionary leader, had eradicated corruption by executing every dishonest politician and investing every last resource into technological advancements. Thanks to his ruthless yet effective leadership, humanity now thrived with innovations such as flying cars, nuclear-powered cities, and AI-integrated hospitals.
But none of these achievements compared to the work of one man—Suteil.
At just 12 years old, he had created the first AI assistant capable of managing all human technology. By 15, he had successfully modified human genetics after only five failed trials on lab mice. And now, at 22, he stood before an enigmatic black stone, ready to unlock its secrets.
Little did he know, this experiment would change everything.
