Chapter 5 - National Hero

"Hansen" tells "Adrian" to bring the book. "Adrian" retrieves it, and "Hansen" places it on the table in front of both "Patrick" and "Adrian." He opens the first page, revealing that "Hansen" has begun deciphering hidden codes that "Thomas" embedded in the book before his death—for a reason yet unknown.

"Hansen" and "Patrick" continue decrypting the codes, writing them down on separate sheets of paper, while "Adrian" carefully arranges them on the wall in order.

Once the decryption is complete, it becomes clear that "Thomas" had left behind a hidden message within "Great Elements."

They all sit down to analyze the message, and "Hansen" begins reading aloud:

"The end of the beginning starts after reading the essence of the message. I am with you in memory, and the goal is one. The attempt will end in a great victory, and the truths lie here:"

At that moment, a flashback occurs:

"Thomas" is seen standing in the middle of a street, lifted high by a crowd of people who cheer and celebrate him enthusiastically. Some people are even crying tears of joy. The celebration continues, revealing the reason behind it—"Thomas" had accomplished something extraordinary.

At that time, "Thomas" had eradicated loans, bills, and debts, effectively ending poverty in the city. He played a vital role in rebuilding, advancing, and flourishing the place where he was born and raised. He achieved all of this by amassing a fortune from his inventions, selling them to global corporations, and using the profits to uplift his hometown.

However, two years later, "Thomas" was murdered in his own home by the very people who appeared in the earlier flashback. These individuals were members of powerful gangs.

The reason behind his assassination was clear—by eliminating poverty, "Thomas" had disrupted the gangs' control over the city's people. The gangs thrived on the financial struggles of the poor, controlling them through exorbitant debts, loans, and bills. Once these financial chains were broken, the gangs lost their grip, and in retaliation, they took his life.
