The ground trembled under , Jazlyn boots shakes as she moved through the battlefield that is filled with friends and opponents.
The clash of sword, dargers, spears and the crackling sound of magic filled the air, a bad sound that threatened to bring to an end of everything else.
Soldiers, both friend and enemy , scattered across the universe that is soaked with blood , their faces is full in fear and all of them are very angry and in a haste to slash across opponents .
Above the sounds of war, a dark, trembling storm breaking in the sky, moving about with an unnatural energy.
fingers tightened around the hilarious and legendary handle of her sword.
Her blade was very sharp and it is full with magical energy, a rare magical weapon that could channel her own arcane power.
The sword stopped moving about slowly, shining with a soft, blue light as she engage into her magic incantation .
Her eyes, usually clear and calm, now burned with the resolve of someone who had already chosen her path. She had no time to hesitate.
"Jazlyn"The voice cut through the chaos, sharp and urgent.
She turned, finding her friend slashing through a group of enemy soldiers, his own weapon , a blade infused with blood magic that is displaying a dark bloody light. He covered his face with an evil and captivating mask , but his eyes were on her, an unspoken command in them.
"What are you doing here?"he barked, his voice harsh as he move another blow of slash.
Jazlyn's gaze rushed past him, to the distant figure of Prince NATHAN. He was surrounded by enemies, and dark energy was gathering around him, an aura and scent of ancient magic ,attached to him like a second skin.
"I've come to end this madness,"Jazlyn's answered, her voice steady but filled with the weight of everything that had led her here. "The Prince must not fall today. Not to this calamity ."
Lugard eyes narrowed. "And you think you can change fate, ? What makes you think you're the one to stop it?"
She had never been one to shrink from the impossible.
"I don't thinkI can stop it," she said, her voice low but fierce. "I know it. There's power in the curse he carries, but there's more in the bond between us. I've felt it. If we don't stop it now, he will bring about the end of everything."
He scowled, a word coming out from his lips as he slashed through another opponent.
Before he could speak again, a massive attack of dark magic comes up from the center of the battlefield, sending shockwave that makes a rapid noise, eager to split the earth beneath their feet.
Jazlyn raised her hand, drawing from the mysterious energies around her, a shield of reflecting a silver light forming just in time to absorb the deadly eruption.
The magic weakened as it collided with her shield, nearly breaking through, and Seraphine felt the familiar warmth of her power fight against the dark forces that threatened to overwhelm it.
The battle was changing. The curse was not just a myth , it was alive, feeding on the energy around them.
"I can't hold it forever!" she shouted to her fellow men , her teeth gritted as the shield flickered.
"We need to reach the Prince now!"
He shot her a look, his lips curling into a half smile. "Then let's make it happen, sorcerer."
Without another word, he moved forward, cutting a path through the chaos, and Seraphine followed, drawing on her magic once more.
She could feel the magic of the battlefield now, a dangerous current that ran through the blood and screams the bloodborne magic of the enemy soldiers, mixed with the primal forces of the land itself. But nothing compared to the ancient, cursed magic that surrounded Lucian.
It was stronger than anything she had ever encountered.
They pushed through, weaving between the soldiers, a blur of steel and magic. As they neared the Prince, a powerful force blocked their path: The Warden , an elite soldier bound to the curse itself, their body radiating dark energy.
The guards eyes gleamed with an unnatural light. "You should not have come, Seraphine," they intoned, their voice both brutal and hypnotic. "The curse will consume you, just as it consumed the Prince."
Jazlyn heart skipped a beat, but she held her ground, her sword flickering with blue energy. "Not today."
With a wave of her hand, she unleashed a burst of "lunar magic", a rare form of sorcery that is attached into the ancient power of the moon, creating a blinding beam of light that cut through the Warden's dark magic.
The guards retreated back, clearly weakened, but they quickly recovered, their eyes burning with fury.
Jazlyn's colleague stepped forward, his voice low and commanding. "Let us through, Warden, or I'll make you regret it."
The guards hesitated, their gaze turned toward Nathan . Then, with a sudden and a reluctant motion, they stepped aside.
As they passed, Jazlyn could not help but look back.
The Warden's voice echoed in her mind, a word that she could not resist , the curse will not be denied.
She turned to back to bring the guards to their last breath trying to surge out a very big lunar magic shockwaves, but was interrupted by her battle partner.
"Leave them we re not here for them but for the prince"
Jazlyn hesitated ,unsure of whether to leave them but decided to follow up her battle partner decision.
