Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Forsaken Bloodline

Deep within the Azure Sky Sect, a young man lay motionless in a dimly lit stone chamber. His body was covered in bruises, his tattered robes soaked in blood. Outside, the muffled laughter of disciples echoed through the corridors.

"Jiang Chen, you worthless cripple! Why don't you just die?"

The words stabbed deeper than the wounds on his body.

Jiang Chen clenched his fists, his breathing ragged. Once, he had been the hope of the Jiang Clan—until his bloodline was declared impure and useless. Cast out and sent to the lowest-ranking sect, he became nothing more than a punching bag for stronger disciples.

But today… something felt different.

His body burned as if molten lava surged through his veins. His heart pounded in a rhythmic pulse, a forgotten melody buried deep in his soul.

Then—

Ding!

A mechanical voice echoed in his mind.

> [Heavenly Tyrant System Awakening…]

[Detected: Host's Hidden Bloodline – Primordial Tyrant Lineage]

[System Initialization Complete.]

Jiang Chen's eyes shot open.

System? Bloodline?

Before he could react, a phantom force erupted from his core, sending a wave of golden light across the chamber. His shattered meridians pulsed with newfound strength, and a wave of ancient knowledge flooded his mind.

> [Tyrant Bloodline Unsealed: Stage 1 – Mortal Awakening]

[Unlocked Ability: Tyrant's Rebirth – Body Refinement Accelerated by 500%]

Jiang Chen gasped as his injuries began healing at an unnatural speed. The scars on his arms faded, and his once brittle bones strengthened. Power surged through him, his frail body shedding its weakness like a snake molting its old skin.

Bang!

A loud knock on the door.

"Jiang Chen! Get out here, cripple! Senior Brother Zhao wants to finish what he started!"

A cold smirk formed on Jiang Chen's lips.

Just an hour ago, he would have feared them.

But now… they were nothing more than stepping stones on his path to supremacy.
