Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Bzzz…Bzzzz...

The blue sky with a clear afternoon, my favourite time of the day. And the dream moment which I was currently going through. Yes, I was about to taste my favourite strawberry gelato in my favourite city Paris. Don't ask me how I got there, I don't even know how. I guess that's how dreams worked. Just as I was about to taste the most delicious thing I ever know the continuous ringing jolted me awake.

"Damn!" I cursed in 99 other languages. What a bright morning. I checked the time, it was 6 o'clock. I twisted my hair into a messy bun and got up to get ready.

Yeah I was going for a morning run. If my mum were to witness this incident she would have surely collapsed. For, one, I was not a morning person. I never woke up this early until and unless it was an emergency. Second, I never exercise. Well in my defence, I never needed to. Dead silence and no staring oldies. What else could I possibly ask for. Everything was upto my liking except the running part.

After a few miles I was practically out of breath. I was heaving like a fish kept out of the water for too long. So instead of running I slowed to walking while trying to catch my breath. I realised I should have brought water as my throat was parched. I made a quick mental note. I turned another corner when I glanced at something moving on a heap of something lying a few feet away and I moved toward that heap. A shriek escaped my throat before I could register anything. That something was not anything but a snake. A freaking snake! The heavens must have cursed me today, first my dream and now this. I was about to run away when I registered the said heap of something was none other than a human. Damn my luck.

Muttering a few curses in every language I knew, I steeled my heart to do
