It was a very ordinary day, at an ordinary place.
I was out on dinner with ny colleagues after good completion of the project we were all working on. It was a very normal thing.
"Drink up buddy" a colleague from the group shouted handing be a can of beer.
I took it with gusto and gluped it all down in one go while I enjoyed others chearing at my record.
Not gonna lie but I had a likeing of being the centre of attention.
Just at that time.
A colleague propted his body up near me.
"Hey, have you checked out that novel topping in the list these days"
I was a little shocked by that words.
Because the novel he was talking about was non other then my own novel which I write on a wim.
Then that man continued
"That novel is trash I don't know why people really like it. The story is shit harem while the fl are fighting each other for mc attention"
A vein poped on my neck...
Even though that person was just expressing his thoughts it was still bitter to swallow.
What he said was TRUE. But it were the dynamics. The plot was full prove and these days people liked harem.
So he wrote what was demanded on the market by majority.
"So I think it might be okay, I can vent"
But the topic seemed off. What was that guy saying.
"If you experience it yourself then you'll now how bad it is—"
The world became blurry and the sounds around me dimmed. I heard shouting but I was out cold...and then darkness.
