The sky was torn apart.
Black fissures spread across the heavens like shattered glass, revealing a terrifying void beyond. From these cracks, Abyss Beasts emerged—massive creatures of darkness, their bodies writhing with unknown energy.
Earth was no longer at peace.
It had been fifty years since the first Void Rift opened, bringing the era of peace to an end. Governments collapsed, civilizations crumbled, and only fortified mega-cities remained as bastions of human survival. The weak perished, while the strong evolved—using a mix of ancient cultivation techniques, genetic modification, and cybernetic enhancements.
But no matter how much humanity fought, the Abyss Overlords only grew stronger.

A Ruined City… and a Forgotten Orphan
In the ruins of an abandoned Celestial Ruins Laboratory, a lone figure moved silently.
Ye Feng, a seventeen-year-old scavenger, crouched near the remains of an old research bunker. His clothes were torn, his body covered in dust and scars. In this era, only the strong survived. And Ye Feng… was weak.
His stomach growled, but there was no food.
A notification appeared on his old Neural HUD, a cybernetic interface implanted in every survivor:
➤ Scouting Mode Active
➤ Location: Celestial Ruins Sector 09
➤ Radiation Levels: 4.2% (Safe Zone)
➤ Detected Lifeforms: 0 (No Threats Detected)
Good. No monsters nearby.
Ye Feng clenched his fists. He had nothing—no cultivation, no genetic enhancements, no weapons. If an Abyss Beast appeared, he would die. But he had no choice. He had to survive.
Then, he saw it.
Deep inside the ruins, half-buried under the wreckage, was a strange black sphere, pulsing with a mysterious glow.
Something inside him urged him forward.
He reached out—his fingers brushing against the surface.
And then, his world shattered.
