Black inky void extended to infinity
Amidst the gloom drifted the spectral image of a recently deceased young adult.
The spectre had a name; Oliver Moran.
Oliver had always lived his life to the fullest after he had overcame his lack of motivation and found his passion.
So what if he was cursed to die young? His life was his to control and he would spend it doing what he enjoys the most– experiencing the peak of combat.
Thus after oliver died on the date set by his curse he wasnt necessarily bothered. It was just nature taking its course, he knew this would happen for years and had come to accept it.
But... if he were given a second chance at life, hed undoubtedly take it to experience the ecstacy of the height of battle once more.
Suddenly a bright light began to shine amidst the void and an omnipotent voice spoke in a graceful and calm manner. "Hey, wanna get reincarnated?"
Oliver raised his translucent hand in an attempt to block the rays. "What?"
The voice replied in an almost childlike manner "im bored and want entertainment. Wanna get reincarnated?"
Slightly bewildered, the spectre scoffed "you're joking right?"
"Nah im serious. You think endless nothingness is interesting?"
"Touché. You were saying something about reincarnation?"
The voice responed in a light, almost impatient tone "Yep, I'm offering to reincarnate you into a world of my choosing with my chosen conditions set in place. Wudda ya say?"
The ghostly figure knitted his eyebrows in contemplation. After a short while he responded "i accept."
pleasantly surprising the omnipotent being "well ain't that peachy. I didnt expect you to be so cooperative!"
Oliver shrugged and lowered his hand "you had a point about this void being boring. So where are you gonna reincarnate me, Someplace super bad i assume?"
The voice grew almost sadistic "Ever heard of Jujustu Kaisen?"
"No." Unfortunately for Oliver, his particular universe never knew of the one eyed cat known as GeGe Akutami.
"Youll get to know it soon enough" responded the voice, though sounding increasingly impatient "are you ready?"
Oliver's eyes widened in shock "wait you're just gonna throw me in with no preparation? No mission statement, no objective, no briefing?"
"Yep. YEET"
The light of the god began to brighten and expand until it encompassed the entire area and sorrounded oliver. He closed his eyes to escape the beams of light that violated his pupils.
And when he opened them again...
"Its a boy!"
