Chapter 1 - A Gaming Glitch

In spring 2025, a new otome game is just launched in Japan, promising an immersive romantic adventure set in a magical kingdom of fantasy and swords.

In a world that closely resembles medieval central Europe, the story follows a beautiful young girl named Nora, born into poverty but blessed with an exceptional talent for magic.

She grows up in a small house in the capital city of the kingdom with her parents. Despite being a cheerful and hardworking girl, she and her family struggles financially.

However her life changed for the better when a kind nobleman noticed her potential and sponsored her entry into the prestigious Royal Academy of Magic, an institution typically reserved for nobles.

At first, she was ignored by her aristocratic classmates, her commoner status making her an outcast. But one fateful day, while practicing magic alone, she caught the eye of the crown prince Bruno Heineman.

From that moment on, her life changed for the worst. No longer invisible, she soon found herself under the scrutiny of Eris von Rheinfeld, the eldest daughter of a grand duke and the prince's fiancée.

She not only harasses the heroine but also tries to harm her family causing many sufferings to the kind and innocent girl. But powerless and afraid, she silently endures it to the best she could.

The prince soon took notice of these developments and protects the heroine from his cruel fiance.

Finally at the school's graduation ceremony, he breaks off his engagement with the villainess and then depending on the amount of crime, the villainess is either hanged or exiled.

There are other characters that the players could date as well according to their tastes.

They include the son of the Chancellor, Hans Lindemann the smartest person in the kingdom and the future captain of the royal knights and very righteous gentleman Karl Galster.

But the main route was the prince and the villainess in all the routes was Eris who was supposed to be deeply jealous of the heroine and get in her way if she chose the prince.

If the heroine was with other targets, the villainess would try to befriend her or blackmail her to use the girl as a pawn for her schemes.

It was a classic tale of rivalry, ambition, and romance—at least, that was how the game was supposed to play out. But something went wrong. Terribly wrong.

Shortly after its release, players reported strange glitches. The heroine, Nora, was missing. The game refused to follow the intended storyline. Dialogue and event triggers broke entirely.

Instead of starting with the heroine entering the magic academy as the game was supposed to, it started with a little Eris waking up in her bedroom.

The name that appeared beside her was strange as well: Eris (Rommel). The way this new little villainess acted was not only weird but also hilarious at times as well.

Instead of acting like a spoiled noble girl or a scheming villainess, Eris behaved erratically—issuing commands, questioning everything, and displaying an almost militant level of discipline.

This also led to various clashes between her and those around her. Like she refused to wear dresses or take part in tea parties. She didn't even play with toys like other children.

The prince barely registered in the game anymore, and worse, the controls wouldn't respond. No matter what the players did, the game continued to follow its own course, centering entirely on this version of Eris.

To the viewers it was like Eris is not a person in the game but rather a person from a very different world having trouble adjusting to her now life.

They became invested to see how this villainess will play out. Or who reincarnated as the villainess this time.

So, everyone kept their eyes on how things turn out. At first the producers wanted to pull this game out of market. But the storyline became really popular and they decided not to.

Instead of being a game it now became an anime that people could watch in DVD. Many fans believed it was a gag by the producers who made a new anime but sold it as a game.

Still the excitement was real and everyone wanted to know if this would be something new and sensational or a generic one like many other.

Most started to like the villainess Nora and her antics. It was clear that she was someone very abnormal.

However, no one could understand what was happening or why is this Eris has a Rommel name in the bracket.

Also, the internal thoughts of this new villainess never occurred before the viewers only her dialogues and activities could be seen or heard.

However, unbeknownst to the fans, this villainess is not an ordinary villainess nor even a woman. He is someone far suppressed everyone's thoughts.
