What...what time is it? I sat up groggily and stared at the ceiling for a while. Ah, it's already 8AM. Should I just skip school again? I thought about it for a bit, still in a daze. In the end I decided to go to school. I had been absent for a week and my teacher had already called me yesterday. Whatever, I'll just sleep during class.
I opened the curtains and looked out. It was a sunny day. I went to my closet and took out my school uniform. It was getting a little small. I should probably get a new one soon. Walking out the door, I stared at the photograph on the entryway table, the family photo.
I walked into school at 8.40AM. I was late but did it really matter? Walking along the corridor, I started thinking about whether I would get scolded by my homeroom teacher. Whatever, it doesn't matter. I strolled into class, expecting to get another scolding by my teacher. Instead, I was greeted with the noise of a thousand elephants stomping their feet.
What? What the fuck is happening? Why is it so noisy? What the hell?
"Oh! Hikaru, you're here. You finally came to school. There's a new student and I assigned their seat to be next to yours."
Mr Sato...why the fuck would you do this to me. Did I torture and kill you in our past lives or something?
I stared at my teacher for a few seconds, and just gave a simple nod. Sighing, I turned around and saw that my table was completely surrounded by my classmates. This is going to be annoying. I trudge towards my table thinking about why I had to deal with this. Maybe I should have just skipped school today. Is it too late to go home?
I sat down on my seat, completely ignoring everyone. I can't be bothered to care about anything, especially a random kid that came from who knows where. I place my head on my table, planning to go to sleep. I could hear my classmates chattering about, asking him all sorts of questions.
"What's your favourite show?" "What's your height" "OMG you're so handsome! what's your skincare routine" "Haha I don't have a favourite show^^" "I'm 180cm tall!" "I just wash my face with soap everyday"
Shit it's so fucking noisy. Can everyone just fuck off? Right at that moment, a loud voice boomed in the classroom, "Alright everyone, let's give the new student some space and prepare for our next lesson" Talk about good timing. The next lesson was math. I'm just gonna sleep~ I was just about to fall asleep when the person beside me started trying to talk to me.
"Hiii how are you! What's your name? My name's Kurayami! What about you? ^^" I turned my head and looked at him. His annoying, cheerful tone that seemed to have no care in the world was the last straw.
"Can you just shut the fuck up and leave me alone? What's it to you anyways? Do you have to talk to and befriend everyone? Are you so oblivious that you can't even tell when someone just wants to sleep and doesn't want to be disturbed? Just leave me the fuck alone."
I turned back and continued trying to sleep. This guy just ruined it, I'm too annoyed to sleep now. But...I guess he is quite good looking. Shit what did I just think? I could feel my ears getting hot but I just ignored it. Whatever! I'm just gonna sleep.
