Chapter 15: The Final Hunt

1. A City Without Mercy

Seoul was quiet at night, but never truly silent.

Jinwoo moved like a shadow through the neon-lit streets, his wounds still aching from the last battle.

But pain didn't matter.

Not anymore.

Every step he took, every breath, brought him closer to the man who had destroyed his life.

Jung Tae-sung.

The name itself was a ghost.

A whisper in the underworld, a rumor no one dared to confirm.

And yet, he was real.

Jinwoo had seen his face in those photos.

Hye-jin had betrayed him for a man he hadn't even known existed.

Jinwoo's grip tightened around the gun hidden beneath his jacket.

Tonight, the hunt began.

And he wouldn't stop until Jung Tae-sung was dead.

---

2. An Old Enemy's Gift

Kang Seok had given him a lead—a warehouse in Incheon.

It was a front, a cover for Tae-sung's operations.

Jinwoo didn't waste time.

By midnight, he was outside the warehouse, the ocean air thick with salt and smoke.

He took a breath, then stepped forward.

The moment his foot crossed the threshold—

Gunfire erupted.

Jinwoo dived behind a stack of crates as bullets tore through the air.

"Shit."

They were expecting him.

He pulled out his pistol, waiting for the right moment—

Then moved.

A blur of motion.

One. Two. Three.

Each shot perfect. Each kill clean.

The last guard collapsed, blood pooling at his feet.

Jinwoo exhaled, then moved deeper inside.

And that's when he found it.

A letter.

Addressed to him.

---

3. The Letter from a Ghost

Jinwoo hesitated before opening it.

The paper was crisp, the handwriting elegant. Precise.

Like it had been written just for him.

> Jinwoo,

I knew you would come.

You have always been predictable, but that is what makes you interesting.

By the time you read this, I will be elsewhere.

You have a choice.

Keep chasing me—and lose everything.

Or walk away.

But we both know which path you'll take.

So come find me.

Let's finish this.

– J.T.

Jinwoo's hands trembled.

Not with fear.

With rage.

Jung Tae-sung wasn't just running.

He was playing with him.

---

4. The Devil's Invitation

At the bottom of the letter was an address.

A single location.

Busan.

Jinwoo's mind raced.

Why Busan? Why there?

And then it hit him.

That's where it all started.

His first fight. His first kill.

The place where Jinwoo had become The Street King.

Tae-sung wasn't just challenging him.

He was bringing him home.

Jinwoo crushed the letter in his fist.

Fine.

If Tae-sung wanted an ending, Jinwoo would give him one.

---

5. The Road to the Final Battle

Jinwoo stole a car, driving through the night.

The highway stretched before him, the lights of Seoul fading in the distance.

His mind was a battlefield of memories.

Kyung-ho's death.

Min-jae's betrayal.

Hye-jin's deception.

Everything led to this moment.

By the time the sun rose, he would be in Busan.

By the time the sun set…

Either Jung Tae-sung would be dead.

Or Jinwoo would.
