Chapter 1: New VR Game

The moon cast its silvery glow over the streets, illuminating the pizza boxes scattered on the ground and the energy drinks stacked in small bins. Qui lay on his bed, VR headset still clutched to his face, as he finished another gaming session. As he removed the headset, morning light flooded the room.

"Morning already? I swear it was just nighttime," Qui said, stretching his 6-foot-tall frame. His messy white hair and green eyes gave him a perpetually sleepy look, which was exacerbated by his worn green sweater and black shorts.

Qui yawned as he checked the time: 6:00 AM. As a second-year student at Enity High School, he should have been getting more sleep. But VR games were his escape, his passion. He lived alone, and gaming filled the void.

Qui went through his morning routine, washing up despite his sleepiness. His vision blurred occasionally, but he pushed through. After getting dressed in his uniform, he headed to school.

The sunny day didn't help Qui's sleepiness, but an energy drink boosted his energy. In class, his best friend Len, a 5'6" boy with red hair and brown skin, threw a pen at Qui to wake him up.

"Qui, wake up, dude! Mrs. Thompson might spot you," Len whispered.

Qui rubbed his face, his messy hair covering his eyes. The bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. Qui stretched, yawned, and smiled sleepily at Len.

"Yeah, yeah, you scored one point higher than me. You should join me in VR, dude," Qui said.

Len chuckled and smiled. As they walked home, William, a 5-foot-tall boy with green hair and blue eyes, joined them.

"Hey guys, have you heard about REH, the new VR game that just released?" William asked, his eyes shining with excitement.

Qui's eyes lit up. "Wait, they released another one? I have to try it!"

Len, who had always declined Qui's and William's invitations to play VR games, surprised them by agreeing to join.

The three friends rushed to the local game store, bought the game, and parted ways. Qui returned home, eager to start playing. He cleaned up the room, unwrapped the game, and put on the VR headset.

As he customized his character, Qui's eyes widened in excitement. "This game has so many features! I can't believe it!"

He chose a muscular character with black pants and a silver blade, and selected an ability that allowed him to summon monsters. Qui's excitement grew as he entered the game world.

The forest environment was breathtaking, with massive birds flying overhead and a bright sun shining down. Qui felt the wind rustling his hair, and his senses came alive.

Suddenly, a man crashed into Qui, running from seven level 7 rabbits. Qui took the man's hand, and they stood up, facing the rabbits.

The guy apologized, "I didn't see you there."

Qui's eyes locked onto the rabbits, their red eyes and white fur sending chills down his spine. The guy drew his gold sword, responding in a cold tone, "I was wondering around, and they suddenly appeared. They're fast; don't take them lightly."

As Qui tried to draw his silver sword, the rabbits moved with incredible speed.
