[Chanting echoes through the dark forest.]
A woman in a black and red gradient robe approaches a sleeping baby, an ancient rusted knife clutched in her hand.
"With this child, I offer my offspring to the unholy ones, to grant me my desires!" Said the woman in the robe declares.
As she was about to stab the infant, the vision blurred and faded as the alarm clock's sound jolted him awake from his slumber.
"Hmmm... sigh," he murmured, stretching his body as he sat up. He made his way to the bathroom, brushed his teeth, and took a quick shower. After getting dressed in his office clothes, he grabbed a quick breakfast before heading out for another monotonous day at work.
"Shit, almost forgot my ID badge," he muttered, quickly fastening the badge with his name, 'Shan Wolf,' Indian, age 25, Malaysia transfer to Korea, corporate worker, the badge wore around his neck. He cleaned his dishes, locked the door to his apartment, and left for work.
Shan made his way to the company as the name 'Won Group' titled. The company is an corporate investments and trading company. Shan joined the company 2 years ago as a transfer worker by anonymous reason from Malaysia to Korea.
Shan was a quick learner as he manages his time to speak korean language fluently. Now, he does. Though he had one problem. He didn't really fit in with his colleagues even after two years working in the company. He's currently works at the head office in the Sales Department.
As Shan sits on his desk and begins his work, He was called out by Rae Yoorin. "Mr. Wolf!!!" Rae Yoorin shouted, she is the manager of the sales department. Though she does work, she sometimes takes her frustration out on Shan. Some workers laugh from behind while others just pity him.
During break time, Shan went to get a can of ice coffee, as he bumped into the Team Leader by accident. "Oh, Ms. Mikage. Im sorry I did not see you there." Ingrid Mikage, she may be Korean but her roots were mix. Ingrid was born Half japanese and half korean. "Next time, watch where your going Mr. Wolf!" She said, a hint of anger and frustration in her tone as she walks away. Ingrid is 35 years old and many male workers would drool over her since she has an hourglass figure, Ingrid was known for her punctual, stern, and cold demeanor, earning her the nickname titled 'Ice Queen Boss' or 'The Boss' for short. Shan made his way back to his desk not before tying his shoelace as it was loose.
Suddenly, a coin has fallen off from his chest pocket as he went to picked it up. As Shan got his coin, unaware he heard Rae Yoorin's voice as she asked what was he doing in the women's toilet. Shan was unaware of his surrounding as he explain's that he dropped his coin and apologize. Rae Yoorin questions in thought as Shan left. Rae Yoorin didn't have time as she entered the stall.
While Yoorin was taking a nature call. She texted her boyfriend on this and that, as she asked him if they're meeting up in the hotel again. She give him a quick snapshot tease, showing off her assets on what's tonight. As Yoorin was about the send the photo. She notice something in the pic and saw small a hidden camera under the toilet bowl sink. Yoorin was frightened by this as she remember's Shan's face and thought maybe he did it as the coin was just an excuse.
A few minutes later, in the Team leader's main office room. Rae Yoorin made a complaint to Ingrid as she asked Yoorin if there was proof. Yoorin claimed that she saw Shan came out of the women's toilet. "I swear, I saw Mr. Wolf came out from there." Said Yoorin. "Fine, wait here first and I will investigate this matter myself. Till then, take the rest of the day off Ms. Yoorin." Said Ingrid.
Later, Ingrid called Shan. Confused, he went to meet her as he notice the weird stare and glares around me. Then, Shan heard a sound from one of them that there is a pervert in the office. Since Ingrid called Shan into her office, they all suspected him. As Shan entered the office to see Ingrid and Yoorin inside. Ingrid gesture Shan to come sit down on the sofa as she them tells him that yoorin found a small recorder and blame's Shan. Shan than claim that he did not do it. "It wasn't me. Do you think I would do something like that?" Shan said as Ingrid then replied, "Then what were you doing near the ladies room." Ingrid sighed and said, "We dont know yet, Mr. Wolf. For now you are the prime suspect. I have inform the security department to check the cctv footage as we speak. Just wait a little longer." Ingrid explained the current situation. Shan then replied in frustration, "GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!!!"
A few hours later, the security came and informed Ingrid that it was true that Shan did picked up a coin which fell towards the ladies toilet. "Oh...., Thank You." Said Ingrid to the security guard as he left. Ingrid turned to Shan and say. Shan, you can go now. The footage has confirmed that you were only there to pick up the coin. "Your off the hook." Shan then replied to her in a little hint of anger in him, "I told you it wasn't me. Is there anything else you wished to say to me?" He asked Ingird. Ingrid said "No" and Shan replied with a quick silent look and said "fine". As Shan makes his way to the door, Ingrid said another thing the Shan. "Actually, there is one more thing. Don't do things that might give others the wrong impression, Mr. Wolf." She said with a smrik on her face.
In Shan's thought, He knew that he was a ccused of something he didn't do and Ingrid did not have the audacity of apologizing to him. But Shan was okay, he is glad that everyone knows that his innocent. But, from the way that the workers looked at him. Shan knew something was not right. Shan was used to being looked down upon but now their silence told Shan that everyone is now looking at him with contempt.
A day, two days, a week has passed as things only got worse ever since that incident.
