Chapter 2 - Enrique Vs. Kim

Enrique woke up in the morning, feeling renewed and ready to face the day. He started his morning routine by drinking a strong coffee to energize himself. Then, he went for a run, enjoying the fresh morning air to clear his mind.

Returning home at 6 a.m., Enrique took a refreshing shower and dressed in simple but elegant clothes. He went down to the building's café, ordered a regular drip coffee, and sat outside to smoke while working.

Enrique was an ectomorph, meaning he needed to eat frequently to maintain his weight. He had to eat six times a day, which was a challenge, but he was determined to maintain his health and physical shape.

Enrique was completely focused on work, typing furiously on his laptop while taking small sips of his coffee. He didn't notice when the mysterious woman entered the café with her friends and siblings. They sat at a nearby table, laughing and chatting animatedly.

However, the mysterious woman immediately noticed Enrique. She observed him for a moment, studying his concentrated expression and relaxed posture. She smiled slightly to herself, seemingly pleased with what she saw.

Enrique, on the other hand, was completely oblivious to her presence. He was too busy working on Mr. Lee's project, trying to find creative solutions to the problems presented.

The mysterious woman got up from the table and approached Enrique, stopping beside him. She looked at his laptop, observing what he was working on.

"You are very focused," she said in a soft, melodic voice. "I didn't know anyone could be so concentrated."

Enrique finally noticed her presence and looked up, surprised. He gave a slight smile, feeling a little uncomfortable with the interruption.

"Yes, I'm working on an important project," he said. "I need to finish it as soon as possible."

The mysterious woman nodded, seeming to understand.

"I won't disturb you," she said. "I just wanted to tell you that you are very interesting."

She smiled again and turned to return to her table, leaving Enrique feeling somewhat confused and intrigued.

After a while, a well-dressed man stepped out of his fancy car with his bodyguards and came to Enrique. It was Mr. Lee.

Mr. Lee approached Enrique, accompanied by two imposing bodyguards. Enrique stood up from his chair, firmly shaking Mr. Lee's hand.

"Mr. Lee, it's a pleasure to see you again," Enrique said, looking Mr. Lee in the eyes with confidence.

"The pleasure is mine, Enrique," Mr. Lee responded with a friendly smile. "I see you are working hard on the project. I'm looking forward to seeing the results."

"Yes, Mr. Lee, I'm doing my best to deliver high-quality work," Enrique said. "I believe the project has great potential to boost your company."

Mr. Lee nodded, appearing satisfied.

"I have confidence in you, Enrique," he said. "You have a reputation for being one of the best professionals in the field."

While they talked, the mysterious woman watched the scene with interest. She recognized Mr. Lee as her father's competitor and felt a surge of curiosity.

"Who is that person?" she asked her friend, pointing to Enrique.

"I don't know," her friend replied. "But he seems to be someone important. Mr. Lee is treating him with a lot of respect."

The mysterious woman nodded, continuing to watch the scene.

"I need to know more about him," she said with determination in her eyes.

Enrique began to present his plans for Mr. Lee's company, using graphs and statistics to illustrate his points.

"As you can see, Mr. Lee, our strategy is focused on increasing your company's visibility in the global market," Enrique said. "We will use a combination of digital marketing and public relations to create a strong and positive image for your company."

Mr. Lee nodded, appearing impressed.

"I'm very pleased with what you're presenting, Enrique," he said. "But I need to know how you plan to deal with the competition. My main competitor, Mr. Kim, is a very powerful and influential man in Korea."

Enrique smiled coldly.

"Well, he won't be a problem for me," Enrique said. "Because I don't have problems, I have solutions. And I solve them immediately."

Mr. Lee raised an eyebrow, seemingly surprised by Enrique's confidence.

"I like your attitude, Enrique," he said. "But you need to understand that Mr. Kim is not a man to be underestimated. He has many resources and connections at his disposal."

Enrique nodded, but didn't seem worried.

"I understand, Mr. Lee," Enrique said. "But I'm not here to play. I'm here to win. And I will do whatever it takes to ensure your company's success."

Mr. Lee smiled, appearing satisfied with Enrique's response.

"I think you're the right man for the job, Enrique," he said. "Let's work together to make our companies market leaders."

Enrique shook Mr. Lee's hand, sealing the deal.

"It's a pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Lee," Enrique said with a smile.

"The pleasure is mine, Enrique," Mr. Lee responded. "I'm looking forward to seeing the results of our work together."

The two men said their goodbyes, and Enrique sat back down in his chair, feeling tired. He placed his hand over his eyes, massaging them gently.

"It's been a long day," he said to himself with a sigh.

Suddenly, he heard a soft voice behind him.

"You look tired," the voice said.

Enrique turned around to see who it was, and found the mysterious woman standing behind him, with a smile on her lips.

"Yes, it's been a long day," Enrique replied with a smile.

The mysterious woman moved closer to him, sitting in the chair beside him.

"I'm Ji-Hyun," she said, extending her hand.

Enrique shook her hand, feeling a strange sensation.

"I'm Enrique," he replied with a smile.

Ji-Hyun looked at Enrique with a smile on her lips.

"You're very young to be closing such powerful deals," she said in a soft voice. "And you're also very... attractive."

Enrique felt a shiver run down his spine, unsettled by Ji-Hyun's observation.

"What do you mean?" he asked, feeling a little uncomfortable.

Ji-Hyun laughed, with a musical sound.

"I mean that you're very charming," she said. "And that might be a problem for you, especially in such a competitive business environment."

Enrique furrowed his brow, feeling confused.

"I don't understand," he said. "What are you trying to say?"

Ji-Hyun leaned forward, with an intense look.

"I'm saying you need to be careful," she said. "There are people who won't like your success, and they might try to use your looks and charm against you."

Enrique felt a shiver run down his spine, beginning to understand what Ji-Hyun was trying to say.

"Did you hear anything?" he asked, feeling a little anxious.

Ji-Hyun smiled, with an enigmatic look.

"I've heard many things," she said. "But I can't say everything yet."

Enrique took a deep breath and controlled his emotions, feeling confident and unafraid. He knew he was the top businessman in Latin America and the most handsome young man there, and that gave him unwavering confidence.

He looked at Ji-Hyun with a calm and serene smile.

"Thanks for the warning," he said. "But I don't need to worry about what others say. I can take care of myself."

Ji-Hyun looked at him with an intrigued look, seeming surprised by Enrique's confidence.

"You're very self-assured," she said. "I like that."

Enrique smiled again, feeling satisfied with Ji-Hyun's reaction.

"I'm just being realistic," he said. "And I also think you should be careful when listening to other people's conversations. You never know what people are really thinking."

Ji-Hyun laughed, with a musical sound.

"You're very cold," she said. "I like that too."

Enrique smiled again, feeling satisfied with Ji-Hyun's reaction. He knew he was a proud and cold man, but he also knew that was necessary to achieve success.

Enrique stood up from his chair and said goodbye to Ji-Hyun.

"I have important things to do today," he said. "It was a pleasure talking to you."

Ji-Hyun smiled and nodded.

"The pleasure was mine," she said.

Enrique turned and left the café, leaving Ji-Hyun alone. She took out her phone and called her father.

"Dad, I have something important to tell you," she said.

"What is it?" her father asked.

"I met the man who's working with Mr. Lee," Ji-Hyun said. "He's a very confident and self-assured young man. And he's also our neighbor."

"Who is he?" her father asked.

"His name is Enrique," Ji-Hyun said. "And he's very dangerous. I think he might be a problem for us."

Ji-Hyun's father laughed.

"Don't worry about him," he said. "I'll take care of it. You just focus on your own life."

Ji-Hyun nodded, even though she knew her father wasn't taking the threat Enrique posed seriously.

"Yes, dad," she said. "I'll do that."

Meanwhile, Enrique was in his apartment, working on his computer. He didn't know that Ji-Hyun had called her father about him. But he knew he was being watched, and that made him even more determined to achieve his goals.

Enrique finished his work and decided to go to the gym that had opened in the building. He needed to stay in shape and relax a bit after a long day of work.

When he left the gym, he saw the Kim family standing in the lobby of the building. Ji-Hyun was standing next to her father, a tall and slim man with cold, calculating eyes.

Ji-Hyun's father, Mr. Kim, looked at Enrique with a look of disdain and hostility. Enrique, however, was not intimidated. He looked back at Mr. Kim with a firm, challenging gaze.

Ji-Hyun seemed uncomfortable with the tension between the two men. She tried to intervene, but her father interrupted her.

"Don't worry, Ji-Hyun," Mr. Kim said in a cold tone. "I'm just... enjoying the view."

Enrique smiled, knowing Mr. Kim was just trying to save face.

"Yes, the view is very nice," Enrique said in a neutral tone. "But I think it's time for me to leave."

**Enrique turned and began walking toward the elevator. Mr. Kim and Ji-Hyun watched him, with different expressions. Mr. Kim looked hostile
