Orochimaru decided to assign the mission of monitoring the Cloud Ninjas' station to Kamishiro and his team.
Jiraiya thought for a moment and then nodded. "Alright. There aren't any other missions for Kakashi and his group at the moment. So, let them handle this one."
After discussing with Orochimaru about how to round up the Cloud Ninjas, Jiraiya left the tent and summoned Kamishiro, Kakashi, and the others.
Inside Jiraiya's tent.
Kamishiro curiously asked Obito beside him, "Obito, what did Lord Jiraiya summon us for?"
Obito shrugged. "I don't know either. But since he's gathered us all here, there must be a mission for us."
Kamishiro exclaimed in shock, "What? We just got back from a mission, and now we have another one?"
Obito replied to Kamishiro, "This is normal, Kamishiro. You don't think we'll get a few days off after one mission, do you?"
Rin Nohara also said, "Sometimes when there are no missions, we can rest. But if there are, there's no time for rest. We have to go on the next mission right away. I remember one time, we did three missions in a row in a month without a single day off."
Obito recalled, "Yeah, it was two investigation missions and one surveillance mission. Right after we came back and reported, there was another mission. That time was really exhausting."
Kakashi stared at Kamishiro with his dead - fish eyes and said, "Kamishiro, you don't need to worry. As I've said before, our missions usually don't involve The Battle. They're mostly investigation or surveillance missions focused on observation."
Kamishiro sighed and asked, "What if we really get involved in The Battle?"
"That'd be great!" Obito exclaimed excitedly, clapping his hands. "I've been dying for a mission involving The Battle. My thirst for battle is unbearable!"
Kamishiro and Kakashi both rolled their Byakugan at Obito.
Kamishiro retorted mockingly, "You? I saw you when I was hiding in the grass in The Land of Rivers. You were so scared you just stood there. It was Kakashi who saved you."
Obito's face instantly turned red. "N, nonsense! Who was scared? Kakashi was just being over - zealous. Everything was under my control at that time. I could have taken out those Sunagakure Village ninjas and Iwa - nin all by myself!"
Kakashi gave a cold laugh but said nothing.
This laugh from Kakashi irritated Obito. He slapped the table hard, pushed his face in front of Kakashi, and said angrily, "Kakashi! What are you laughing at!"
Kakashi just stared at Obito without saying a word, but his mocking expression was obvious.
Rin Nohara rubbed her temples in annoyance. Here they start again!

Kamishiro clapped his hands vigorously. "Obito, you're such a real man now! You're truly a genius among the Uchiha! I feel like I'm about to admire you! If there were girls here, they'd definitely admire you too!"
Obito subconsciously glanced at Rin.
So... Rin must admire him now, right?
Rin said to Kamishiro impatiently, "Kamishiro, quit fanning the flames!"
Suddenly, Kakashi said, "Idiot!"
This single word "idiot" made Obito excited again. "Kakashi! I'll fight you today in the name of the Uchiha!"
Rin said helplessly, "Kakashi, quit causing more headaches!"
Just then, Jiraiya entered the tent. Seeing the scene in front of him, he was surprised. "Is it so lively here?"
