Jason Carter had never been the kind of guy who took things easy. His life was a collection of fast punches and reckless decisions. A street brawler at heart, he had always been searching for something more than just fighting. He had a fire in him, something that couldn't be extinguished. Unfortunately, that fire led him to an untimely death—a car accident. In the blink of an eye, it was all over.
But before his soul could drift into oblivion, a strange voice echoed in his mind.
"Do you wish for another chance, Jason?"
Jason wasn't sure what was happening. His body felt weightless, and his vision blurred. There was no sense of time, just an endless void. He wanted to respond, but the words caught in his throat. What did this mean? Another chance at life? Could it be?
The voice continued, undeterred. "You have died before your time. But we will offer you a chance at rebirth, with three wishes. Choose wisely, for they will shape your new life."
"Three wishes?" Jason thought. "Are you serious?"
The voice chuckled, almost amused by his response. "Yes, three wishes. Choose carefully, and you may shape your new life into something extraordinary."
Jason paused. He didn't have much time. The chaos of his past life flooded his mind—his relentless fights, the loneliness, and the yearning for a connection.
First wish.
He knew exactly what he wanted. "I wish for overpowered boxing abilities—skills that will make me undefeatable in any fight."
The voice paused, and for a brief moment, Jason thought it was reconsidering. But then, it responded with a satisfied hum. "Your wish is granted. You will possess strength, speed, and technique that exceeds any normal human's capabilities."
Jason felt a surge of power coursing through him, as if his very cells were being rewired. He could almost feel the energy in his body—every muscle, every tendon, every fiber of his being was now heightened.
Second wish.
His heart suddenly felt full of an overwhelming desire—something he had longed for but never had. "I wish for Alex Dunphy to be my soulmate."
The voice hesitated for a second, and Jason could feel a sense of judgment, almost as if the request was unexpected. But finally, it spoke.
"Your wish is granted. You and Alex Dunphy are destined to be together."
Jason didn't understand why it felt so right. He didn't even know Alex that well, but something about her intrigued him. Something about her sharp intelligence and strength made him want to fight for her—no, to be with her.
Third wish.
His final wish was born from the deep, painful longing he had felt in his past life. "I wish for a loving, rich, and supportive family. One that will truly care for me, understand me, and accept me for who I am."
The voice replied softly, "Your wish is granted. Your family will provide you with everything you need—love, support, and wealth. You will be reborn into a life of abundance."
