Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Accident

Abandoned Warehouse Basement: 4:45 AM

Two men, armed with guns, carefully descended the stairs. The Boss peeked down the dimly lit hallway and gestured to his assistant, signaling the presence of four guards.

One guard was stationed near the stairs, two others appeared distracted, and the fourth man was walking in the farthest corner of the hallway, his back turned to the others.

Understanding the silent order, the assistant swiftly approached the guard near the stairs. Without a sound, he cupped the guard's mouth, struggling briefly before successfully snapping his neck. However, the muffled noises caught the attention of the remaining three guards, who immediately turned their heads and saw their companion collapse lifelessly. Just as they raised their guns to shoot the assistant, the Boss emerged from the shadows and expertly shot all three of them dead in an instant.

"Wow..." the assistant muttered, clearly impressed by his boss's shooting skills. His admiration was cut short when the Boss stepped forward, his face grim with fury.

"This is not the time to be a fanboy, Arav! Move!" the Boss ordered sternly.

"Yes, Boss," Arav mumbled quickly and followed him.

They walked down the hallway until the Boss reached a wooden door. Without hesitation, he kicked it open, causing the people inside to jump in shock at the sudden intrusion.

"Hey! Who do you th—" the man who seemed to be in charge began to yell, but his voice died instantly when his gaze met the cold and dangerous eyes of the Boss.

"VRS..." the man stammered, his previous arrogance melting into sheer terror. His body trembled, and he instinctively bowed his head in submission.

Arav smirked, seeing how his Boss's mere presence could turn these men into cowards.

"So you know me? Interesting. Very interesting!" the Boss sneered darkly. "Then let's not waste time with introductions and get straight to the point...WHERE ARE MY WEAPONS!?" he demanded, his voice thunderous.

"No...No, King...how can your weapons—" the terrified man barely began to explain before the Boss, without a second thought, shot the man's right-hand man dead.

"Don't waste my time with useless excuses!" the Boss growled.

"Forgive me...Boss...I-I made a mistake—" the man stuttered, his words barely escaping his mouth.

"Enough of your pathetic explanations, Patil! Answer my Boss, or else...!" Arav barked, grabbing the man by his neck and choking him.

"F-fine...I'll tell you..." Patil gasped, barely managing to speak. Arav dropped him to the floor, allowing him to catch his breath.

Patil trembled as he began speaking. "B-Boss...I did steal the guns and bullets...but—"

"But what!?" the Boss roared, his patience wearing thin.

"I-I did it under the orders of King RRS...Aaaah!" Patil screamed as the Boss mercilessly shot his right knee.

"How dare you drag my brother's name into this mess!?" the Boss thundered, stepping on Patil's wounded knee, making him writhe in pain.

"I-I'm not lying...I swear! RRS...he gave me the assignment...He asked me to pretend like it was a theft...and hand over the weapons consignment to his men...to protect your and his name from being exposed...because the police have been tightening their investigations lately...I-I'm telling the truth! Why would I lie?" Patil cried, his voice cracking in pain.

"You pathetic coward!" the Boss spat, disgusted by the man's treachery. He exchanged a silent look with Arav, signaling him to check the perimeter. Meanwhile, the Boss coldly aimed his gun at Patil and pulled the trigger — ending his life.

Without wasting another moment, they both walked out of the warehouse but not before setting the entire place on fire.

VR Mansion: 8:30 AM

"Sorry, Boss! Seems like there's some technical issue with your car. I'll get it fixed and come to pick you up," Shivin informed.

"Alright, Shivin. I'll take another car for now," the Boss replied.

"Okay, Boss. I'll get the car repaired and come back soon."

VR Office Building: 11:30 AM

Shivin was waiting near the office premises for his Boss's return. Once the Boss came out, they both drove off.

"Shivin, we need to go to Shiv Mandir to pick up Grandma," the Boss instructed.

"Which Shiv Mandir, Boss? The one near the cliff?" Shivin asked to confirm.

"Yes, that's the one. Drive there," the Boss replied.

As they drove off, Shivin suddenly felt short of breath. Shrugging it off as the cold weather, he continued driving. However, the suffocation intensified. Both of them began gasping for air when the car suddenly swerved uncontrollably and crashed into a large tree.

Shivin lost consciousness after hitting his head against the steering wheel, while the Boss, despite his dizziness, managed to unbuckle both their seatbelts and tried to open the door — but it was jammed. Panicking, he fumbled for his phone and frantically dialed a number, but there was no immediate response.

Desperate, he began banging on the car window, hoping to get someone's attention. His blurred vision caught sight of a figure approaching the car. Unable to make out their face, he prayed they could help.

A young woman, who had been driving by, witnessed the accident. Without a second thought, she rushed toward the vehicle. Realizing the doors were jammed, she quickly retrieved a glass breaker, a first aid kit, and a stethoscope from her car. Breaking the driver's side glass, she carefully pulled the unconscious driver out and laid him down before rushing to the other man.

"Sir! Can you hear me? Are you okay?" she asked, patting his cheeks gently.

"M...my name...Reha...nsh..." he mumbled weakly.

Seeing his worsening condition, she splashed water on his face to keep him conscious. After some struggle, she managed to pull him out of the car and laid his head on her lap, gently fanning him with her scarf. She quickly tended to the driver's head injury while constantly trying to keep Rehansh awake.

"Don't worry, Sir. I've checked your friend's pulse, and he's stable. If you're still worried, you can come to the hospital for a detailed check-up. Here's my hospital's address," she said, handing him a card.

Rehan, despite his dazed state, couldn't take his eyes off her. Her angelic face and compassionate nature captivated him.

Moments later, she noticed his phone vibrating and answered it.

"Hello!" she said.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!? WHERE IS MY BROTHER!? IF YOU DARED TO HURT HIM, I SWEAR—" a furious voice roared from the other end.

"Shut up and listen! Your brother and his friend were in an accident at Cliff Road. Get here quickly instead of yelling!" she snapped, hanging up the call.

She turned back to Rehan, ensuring he was stable. Just as she finished dressing Shivin's wound, she noticed Rehan was still gazing at her.

"You'll be fine, Sir. Try not to move much," she smiled.

Before Rehan could respond, his brother and team arrived. Without understanding the situation, his brother, Vansh, angrily rushed to her.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BROTHER!?" he yelled.

Taken aback, she scoffed. "I just saved his life, thank you very much!" she retorted before walking away in anger.

Rehan immediately tried to get up. "Hey! Wait!" he yelled, but she had already driven off.

"What the hell, Vansh!? She saved my life, and you scared her away!" Rehan fumed.

"Saved your life!? What if she did something to you?" Vansh countered.

"Ugh! She's the reason I'm alive, idiot! And thanks to your temper, I lost my chance!" Rehan complained.

"Chance? What chance?" Arav smirked.

"To ask her name..." Rehan admitted sheepishly.

Arav laughed. "You fell in love in one glance!?"

"She's mine! End of discussion!" Rehan declared possessively.

Shivin chuckled. "Relax, Boss! She gave you her hospital card. We'll find her."

Rehan grinned, clutching the card. "Seven Hills Hospital...get ready, Doctor Cutie. I'm coming for you."
