Chapter 6 - Enchanted Magic Book – It's About To Be Hollowed Out!

"Teacher?"

Aaron called out again, his voice filled with anticipation. He wasn't satisfied yet.

If possible, he wanted Irene to teach him all the magic she knew—right now.

If he could absorb everything in one go, his magic level would soar when he returned to practice.

Of course, he knew that was wishful thinking. Even with his talent, it would be difficult to convince Irene to just hand over everything.

Irene hesitated, clearly uncomfortable. She could already feel herself being drained by this monstrous student.

"Aaron… don't you still have warrior training?" she asked, hoping to divert his focus. "Why don't you go back and finish that first?"

She needed an excuse. Any excuse.

But Aaron's eager expression didn't waver.

Irene sighed.

Fine.

A moment later, a thick, ancient book appeared in her hands, radiating a strong magical aura.

Aaron's eyes lit up.

"This," Irene said, handing it over, "is an Enchantment Magic Book. As an outstanding Asgardian magician, learning enchantment magic is a must."

Aaron took the book with reverence.

"This book records nearly all of Asgard's enchantments," Irene continued. "Study it whenever you have time. If you don't understand something, ask me."

She paused, then added:

"When you master this book, I'll teach you more magic."

Aaron's mind raced with possibilities, but Irene quickly raised a hand, as if reading his thoughts.

"Don't underestimate enchantment magic," she warned. "It is the foundation of Asgardian civilization. Everything we use—our weapons, our armor, even our spaceships—relies on enchantments."

Aaron nodded seriously. He already knew this.

"You've heard of Mjölnir, haven't you?" she asked.

Aaron's grip tightened on the book.

"Thor's hammer?"

"Correct."

Irene's gaze was steady.

"Mjölnir is not just a weapon—it is an enchantment masterpiece. It was forged by the Dwarves using a dead star as a furnace and Uru metal as the base material. But what truly makes it powerful is Odin's enchantment magic."

She smiled.

"With it, Mjölnir gained the power to control thunder, becoming an indestructible, invincible artifact."

Aaron exhaled, gripping the book tighter.

So that was the true power of enchantments.

Even mediocre weapons could be transformed into something legendary.

In his mind, he still remembered the two M16 rifles—Ruitian and Midi.

Before being enchanted, they were ordinary Earth weapons.

But with Asgard's enchantments, they became killing machines, capable of piercing through Hela's black swords and slaughtering undead warriors.

Magic wasn't just about spells.

It was about creation, enhancement, and transcendence.

Asgard had achieved its dominance through a perfect enchantment system.

Taking a deep breath, Aaron turned to Irene again.

"Teacher, earlier… how did you summon this magic book?" His eyes gleamed with curiosity. "Is that another spell?"

Irene blinked, then chuckled.

"So you noticed," she said.

She was hoping to avoid more teaching for today, but…

She sighed again.

"This is Space Storage Magic," she explained. "A very practical spell that allows you to create a small dimensional space using magic. It's mainly used to store small objects."

Aaron's excitement grew.

"The greatest advantage? Convenience. It frees up your hands and lets you carry important things effortlessly."

Aaron's thoughts were racing.

Space magic!

This was incredibly useful!

Irene saw the enthusiasm in his eyes and knew there was no escaping this.

"Since you want to learn it, I'll teach you," she said. "It's just a simple auxiliary spell, though not easy to master."

And so, Irene reluctantly began explaining the principles of space storage magic.

She hoped that by delaying him with enchantment magic and a difficult auxiliary spell, she could buy herself some time before he drained her dry.

Unfortunately for her, Aaron was a monster.

Within minutes, he had already learned Space Storage Magic.

Right in front of Irene, he tested it out—taking the book in and out of his personal space with ease.

Over and over again.

Like a child playing with a new toy.

Irene's eye twitched.

This is absurd.

Even though space storage was just an auxiliary spell, it still involved spatial manipulation, making it incredibly difficult to master.

And yet, Aaron had done it instantly.

With no hesitation.

With no struggle.

He simply absorbed the knowledge like a sponge and applied it perfectly.

At this point, Irene was questioning her entire existence.

What am I even doing here?

She cleared her throat, trying to maintain what little dignity she had left.

"Ahem," she said, straightening up. "That concludes today's lesson. Everyone, take what you've learned and study it well."

Her gaze swept over the other apprentices.

"As Asgardians, I hope you will all use your magic to serve and protect our kingdom in the future."

With that, she turned immediately and walked outwithout looking back.

She had to leave.

Right now.

Otherwise, she might actually be hollowed out.

Her destination?

The Golden Hall.

She needed to report this to Frigga, the greatest sorceress in Asgard.

Frigga was not only an immensely powerful witch but also the honorary headmistress of the Magic Academy.

Irene needed advice.

Because right now, she felt like she had lost complete control over her role as a teacher.

Meanwhile…

As soon as Irene left, the apprentices rushed toward Aaron, their faces filled with excitement.

"Aaron! How did you do that?"

"Can you teach me illusion magic?"

"Can I see your space storage magic again?"

Aaron glanced at them.

Then, without a word—

He turned and walked away.

Compared to dealing with these ordinary students, wouldn't it be better to train?

Wouldn't it be better to practice magic?

A sense of urgency burned inside him.

He had a gift.

He had opportunities others could only dream of.

And he would not waste them.

As Aaron walked off, the apprentices could only watch him leave, their expressions filled with awe and jealousy.

They had always prided themselves on being warriors rather than magicians.

But now?

For the first time, they questioned their path.

They had always believed that becoming a warrior was the smartest choice—it took decades to master combat, whereas becoming a magician required centuries or even millennia.

But if they had Aaron's talent

They wouldn't hesitate to choose magic.

Because at this moment, Aaron wasn't just a magician.

He was a force of nature.
