Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

I spent a few hours training Kinshiki's technique, Ōdachinagi, in my central dimension.

This dimension is the most important of all, and is directly linked to the other five dimensions.

This dimension has a landscape with rocky and rugged terrain. She had not visited this dimension more than three times throughout her time living in the Shinobi World. The dimension was extremely ugly for her taste. She always preferred her icy or volcanic dimension, where she used to go to relax accompanied by Konan.

The only good side of this dimension is that her body and energy recover much faster. It was also a good training place.

"Not bad, I guess. Although it's not a technique I'll be using very often." I muttered thoughtfully.

My combat style focuses more on long distances, and although I'm not bad at hand-to-hand combat, I prefer to keep my distance at all times with my enemies. As I've always proven to do.

"Momoshiki should have already investigated the frozen dimension and figured out what happened..." I thought. It wasn't the time to face him yet.

Momoshiki just discovered that he's no match for me anymore. He'll need help if he wants to defeat me, and his only option, even if it's of no use to him, is to absorb Urashiki.

Urashiki is so weak that I don't want to waste time looking for him, so I'll let Momo-chomo take care of him for me.

A very remote possibility is that the two of them team up and try to defeat her, though knowing Momoshiki's temperament, he'll probably absorb him, wanting to finish her off personally without help.

...

In Amegakure, in front of a huge holographic screen, the face of the Nanadaime Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, was projected.

"Kaguya Baa—chan, long time no see." he greeted cheerfully. A large amount of papers rested on his table, in the Hokage's office.

Naruto looked at her with tired eyes, he didn't seem to have gotten enough rest lately.

"Fulfilling your dream in the end hasn't been what you expected, or am I wrong? You look more tired than in the Fourth Shinobi World War." I joked a little.

Naruto let out a nervous laugh. "Is my face that tired?"

"As much as a raccoon's eye shadow is." I replied. Naruto sighed. The whiskers on his face were no longer his most striking facial feature.

"Yes. Let's finish quickly Kaguya Baa—chan, I want to go home and rest tonight." He asked me, yawning and leaning back in his seat, relaxing as I spoke to him.

"These are Amegakure matters, Naruto. Konohagakure must not get involved." I changed my attitude immediately as the conversation got back on track, becoming serious.

"We are talking about the Ōtsutsuki Clan. This is a matter that concerns all of us, not just Amegakure." Naruto also became serious. He was now the Hokage of Konoha, no longer the same immature brat from a few years ago.

He now carried a lot of responsibilities on his shoulders. A lot of lives to protect.

"I have already taken care of one of them, and there are only two more left. I will not reveal any more information, stay out of this, this is none of your business." I said.

Of course, this was information I already knew from Sasuke, who was present when Kinshiki appeared.

Naruto massaged his temple, tired of arguing. "At least let us know if you need help, Konohagakure will support Amegakure if needed." he said.

Kaguya nodded "Give my regards to Hinata and the kids." she said goodbye.

"Same here." Naruto replied, disconnecting from the call.

Two years after Naruto and Hinata got married, they had their first child whom they named Boruto.

And a few years later, their second daughter, Himawari, was born.

Naruto had achieved everything he set out to do in life. He managed to become Hokage, which he dreamed of when he was little. And he also managed to start a family of his own. She is happy for him.

Sasuke must have informed her of what happened in the ice dimension, and he contacted her right away.

It had been a few days since it happened, but Naruto kept contacting her to see if they could join forces and face the threat together.

She turned him down every time. Even Hashirama called her, wanting to have another adventure on another planet facing a powerful enemy. Though she hung up on him the moment he mentioned it.

...

On the day of the Chūnin Selection Exams in Konohagakure, Kaguya decided to attend for some reason that baffled everyone.

She even brought along some of the Amegakure Genin who weren't supposed to participate until the next Chūnin Exams the following year.

She didn't show up for the first two tests. The first test was to answer a question with "True or False", although the test didn't even have a correct meaning from the start.

They all failed to answer and fell into a pool of ink, only those who were saved from getting stained moved on to the second test.

The first real test was this: if after seeing the pool of ink, they gave up and let themselves fall into the pool, then they didn't deserve to become a Chūnin. The main goal of the first test was to see what their second answer would be after making a mistake.

The second test was the simplest of all: capture the flag. One team against another, they had to protect their territory's flag while infiltrating enemy territory and stealing their flag.

It was a shame that in this particular test, Tenten and Neji's son, Tenji, was up against the Genin of Amegakure. Kaguya would have liked to see the son of those two face off in the third and final test.

Coming to the last test, the one-on-one sparring, Kaguya sat with the other Kages, ready to enjoy the show, at least until they interrupted it.

She had been following Momoshiki with Senrigan ever since he eliminated Kinshiki. He absorbed Urashiki, and plans to capture the tailed beasts, starting with the only two Jinchūriki currently in existence, Naruto and Killer B.

Despite the setbacks, Momoshiki's initial plans went ahead, he should make it halfway through the final test of the Chūnin Exams.

Rock Lee hosted the final test, kicking off the one-on-one matches.

The first match was between Boruto Uzumaki and Yurui, a Genin from Kumogakure.

Kaguya had already made sure that Boruto did not use the Shinobi Gauntlet, the scientific ninja tool developed by Katasuke Tōno, to cheat in the Chūnin Exams. She made sure to nip the problem in the bud.

She asked Amado to stop Tōno with the excuse of not wanting any trouble in the Chūnin Selection Exams.

Surprisingly, Boruto made it to the final test together with his team, proving his talent.

Boruto defeated Yurui with his own strength, using the Vanishing Rasengan, which is a different version of the Rasengan, accidentally fusing the Lightning Release. He caught Yurui off guard and defeated him with a single attack.

Sarada faced a Genin from Otogakure, knocking him down with a single punch.

Mitsuki, the artificial son of Orochimaru from Amegakure, defeated one of Kirigakure's Genin.

Shinki, the adopted son of Godaime Kazekage Gaara defeated Chōchō Akimichi, Chōji's daughter, with his metal dust sand.

Surprisingly, Shikadai even won a fight, the boy having inherited his father's laziness, but also his intelligence. He managed to win without giving it his all, becoming one of the finalists.

In the seventh match, Boruto faced Shikadai. The fight was close and Boruto was close to losing when he was restrained by Shikadai's shadows, but he ended up breaking free from the influence of his Jutsu and Shikadai was too lazy to continue the fight.

Temari, his mother, shouted at him from the stands, making him sigh, feeling like his own mother was annoying.

As the next match was about to begin, Kaguya stood up, causing all the Kages to look at her in confusion.

"Naruto, order your Shinobi to evacuate the stadium immediately, we have unwanted guests." I said, causing him to frown and nod.

The Kages tried to get up from their seats, but for some reason, they couldn't.

"Stay where you are, you'll be more of a hindrance than a help." I commented coldly. The current Kages were a mockery compared to their predecessors, with the occasional exception.

Jumping into the combat arena, I looked up at the sky, smiling. Momoshiki stepped out of a portal and collapsed into the arena, stopping in front of it, raising a cloud of dust that completely covered them.

"You're the last one left, Momo-chomo." I thought amused.
