*Chapter 2: The Journey Begins*
Aria's heart was racing as she finished reading the acceptance letter. She had always dreamed of attending Dragon Magic School, and now that the opportunity was finally within her grasp, she couldn't wait to start her journey.
Grim, the bartender, looked at her with a mixture of surprise and pride. "Well, kid, looks like you're going places," he said, slapping her on the back.
Aria grinned, feeling a sense of excitement and trepidation. She had never been outside of Brindlemark before, and the thought of traveling to a new place, meeting new people, and learning new magic was both thrilling and intimidating.
The stranger who had delivered the letter stepped forward, their eyes gleaming with a hint of magic. "I'm Professor Orion," they said, with a slight bow. "I'll be escorting you to Dragon Magic School. We need to leave immediately."
Aria nodded, still feeling a bit dazed. She said goodbye to Grim and the other patrons, gathered her belongings, and followed Professor Orion out of the tavern.
As they walked through the streets of Brindlemark, Aria couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. She had never seen so many people, horses, and carriages in one place before. The air was filled with the sounds of merchants calling out their wares, the clanging of swords from the nearby training grounds, and the distant roar of dragons.
Professor Orion led her to a beautiful white carriage, adorned with intricate carvings of dragons and magic symbols. Aria gasped in amazement as Professor Orion opened the door, revealing a plush interior with soft, velvet seats.
"This is amazing!" Aria exclaimed.
Professor Orion smiled. "Dragon Magic School is a place of wonder and discovery," they said. "But we must be careful. The journey will be long and fraught with danger."
Aria nodded, feeling a sense of determination. She was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As the carriage began to move, Aria looked out the window, watching as the town of Brindlemark disappeared into the distance. She felt a sense of excitement and trepidation, knowing that her journey was just beginning.
