*Chapter 31: The Confrontation*
Aria's eyes blazed with defiance as she stared at Vraxxis. She knew that she was in grave danger, but she refused to back down.
Vraxxis sneered at her, his eyes gleaming with contempt. "You're a foolish girl, Aria," he said. "You think you can stop me? I have the power of the virus at my command."
Aria stood tall, her heart pounding with fear. "I'm not afraid of you," she lied.
Vraxxis laughed, the sound sending shivers down Aria's spine. "We'll see about that," he said, snapping his fingers.
Suddenly, the room was filled with the sound of screams and wailing. Aria's eyes widened in horror as she saw the security team closing in on her, their eyes vacant and unseeing.
They had been infected with the virus.
Ryker and Elijah fought bravely, taking down the infected guards one by one. But Aria knew that they were outnumbered, and it was only a matter of time before they were overwhelmed.
Vraxxis watched the chaos with a satisfied smile. "You see, Aria," he said, "my plan is already in motion. The virus will spread, and soon the entire city will be under my control."
Aria's eyes locked onto Vraxxis, her heart filled with determination. She knew that she had to stop him, no matter what it took.
