Their home palace was a mini sized city surrounded by a mega city of other noble clans and grand outer city that made up the capital of the third sub planet.
The third Fire sub planet was called Az Fire World, Michael would have felt his Father had an egoistic naming sense but each of the other sub planet was also named after their rulers with the main world bearing the name " Fire Giant World "
Their father the third Prince Az Fire ruled the third largest sub planet in the Fire Giant star system, this system was divided into 1 main planet and 6 sub planets orbiting it.
The Fire Giant King ruled the main planet while each sub planet was ruled by a Prince and although it was called a sub planet that was only because it was subject to the main planet.
Each sub planet was massive and far larger in size than an average planet while the main Fire Giant world was a behemoth of a planet. These 7 planets made the main core of the Fire Giant star system together with other subsidiary planets, habitable and non habitable moons.
Outside the palace doors a gigantic aircraft already sat waiting in the front courtyard, ready to ferry the family to their destination.
Walking towards towards the aircraft, Michael could feel a burning heat and probably because he lacked the fire elemental affinity of the Fire giant race, he didn't feel a close fondness to this heat..
Looking up Michael could see an enormous glowing red sun in the Sky.
For a celestial body to appear so big even from million of miles one could only imagine it's true size.
And from that so far distance it still radiated a very scorching heat.
The Fire Titan Sun was so many things to the Fire Giant race and every time Michael gazed at it, he was always in awe of the might and greatness of the Ancient Titans of Old.
It was a Sun, but in truth it was a behemoth sized heart that burned fiercely.
In fact this sun was the heart of the Ancestral Fire Titan, the progeny of all the fire giants.
It was this heart that birthed the Fire Giant race, and not just them, the other Giant clan races also had something somewhat similar. For giants were descendants of ancient Titans.
This heart shaped Sun was the source of their power, lineage and foundation and the geometry of the entire Fire Giant star system was based on this heart Sun.
The main world was closest to it while the sub planets and other worlds and moon had different varying distances from the Fire Titan Sun.
The close a planet was to the Fire Titan Sun, the larger the size of the planets and also the richness of the Fire blood giant energy the Fire Giants cultivated.
The strength approach way of life of Fire Giant race or the Giant race at large for the had something similar had indirectly been set in stone from the beginning by the Ancestor Titans.
One had to be strong or be of higher bloodline to live in planets closer to the Fire Titan Heart while places far further from the Fire Titan Sun might have less Fire blood giant energy or just giant blood energy, lead to possibility of probably birthing normal giants with no elemental affinity.
The energy level of higher ranked planets could be described as ferociously rich.
As for why Michael's Mom could live in the third sub planet, it was because she was a strong powerhouse, if she was she would have died bearing Royal Giant seed or even living in the third sub planet in the first place, after the main world the sub planet was the third richest place in Fire blood giant energy.
Such was Giant race life, strength was everything and if you could handle the energy burden you could live in any giant world.
Although the giant civilization had come a very long way in technological advancements, creating an energy armour capable of regulating the environmental giant blood energy to a level suitable for the owner and other sorts of similar technology, there was a difference and ease between moving around with and needing one or not.
Lying in his suite in the aircraft, Michael felt his thoughts wander afar.
The entire Fire Giant race took this celebration seriously, but for him whether it was awakening or the battle rankings he himself knew his situation better than others.
To say he wasn't also nervous would be a lie, he was just better at controlling and calming his emotions.
The journey from their home planet to the Fire giant world was no small journey.
From what he knew, even with supersonic speed capabilities of their Spacecraft, it would still take hours and close to a day to reach their destination.
Closing his eyes, he delved his consciousness into the depths of his heart.
For giants their heart was the core of their evolution.
Cultivation, evolution, transformation, whatever name it took across different races, regions, person or civilization, there were 6 known realms.
After these was a restricting barrier, an utmost limit and those that stood at the very edge of the sixth realm, the limit, were known as Emperors.
What ever name it took cultivation was simply the improvement of the life force level of a life form, either in one form or the other or one aspect of the other.
And across the Cosmos, cultivation or evolution paths, abilities, techniques, talents and even starting point varied.
For Giants, evolution began at birth, till the age of 18 years when they entered the awaken realm.
One could say Giants were fortunate to already begin cultivation at birth but not all Giants could awaken and even at awakening there were different levels of bloodline awakening.
The level of one's bloodline awakening determined the limit of realms a Giant was capable of reaching.
Giant cultivation was really easy but became harder at the later realms and talent level limit was very difficult to break.
Although through cultivation it was possible for a Giant to breakthrough their bloodline limit it wasn't so easy, scarcely happen throughout history.
But they were a powerful race, Giants were capable of battling across realms. One could say Giants were a race of high and fixed potential.
Normally, for a Giant, "awakening" meant piercing through their heart with their consciousness and gaze at their Giant spirit, awakening it.
it was the height and intensity of this Giant spirit that determined their bloodline level and talent.
but for Michael his consciousness couldn't pierce through, instead all ever saw was archaic dark golden runic inscriptions covering the surface of his heart.
No matter how hard he tried his consciousness couldn't pierce through or gaze at any spirit.
He couldn't awaken.
This always puzzled Michael, this had continued since he was 10.
Don't look at Giants as just a brute physically race, they had equally strong spirits capable of piercing their internal body at birth and gazing at and into their heart at 18, the age of awakening.
It was through this powerful spirit they were capable of permeating their entire body with giant blood energy, releasing strong suppressing auras and more sorts of abilities.
As for why they could peer into their internal body at birth and were only capable of looking at their heart at 18, was because the heart was the energy and aura centre of Giants and the dwelling place of their Spirit.
It distorted consciousness and their own consciousness could not pierce through until 18.
Michael too was capable of this and much more.
At 10 he was already able to gaze at his heart, even the greatest known giant genius could only do so at 15, this genius shattering the age of awakening, signifying extreme absolute talent, awakening at 16!
Yet he, even more monstrous, after 8 years he still hadn't awakened till now.
It was unheard for a Royal Giant to come of age and still not awaken, Royal scions were of high lineage.
At first murmurs of bastard parentage surrounded Michael but he had shattered those rumors with his strength.
Although he hadn't fought all his peers and many well known geniuses, he knew few could really contend with him.
He had that innate intuition, it defied common sense or convention but he felt it
He was really mighty, those stronger than him were either much older or suppressed him in realm.
Not even his family knew all this, they knew he was strong, but not how strong.
Micheal let out a self depreciating chuckle, it was really getting tiring.
he was now months away from his 19th birthday, some talents not even close to 18 had awakened.
How long was he going to remain at the birth realm ( 1st of Giant cultivation).
And although the mocking glances or partenity sneers were mainly from some the younger generations, for how could the older generation or Powerhouses not have verified his paternity, wouldn't his Father a royal Prince know his own descendant.
Still, he also yearned to progress.
Although he wasn't sure how this was possible, Michael felt he had deviated from the normal Fire Giant bloodline lineage, he just didn't know what he was or was turning into or how long this transformation would take.
Sighing, he opened his eyes.
Giant nobles and Royals undertook basic and foundational studies and arts under their families , after which they could visit other star systems for advanced studies if they wished.
Giant didn't believe in overly sheltering their young, and of course most races wouldn't lightly mess with the Giants.
Michael planned to learn under the Human civilization, it was a gathering point of various races. Like his younger brother, Michael also wished to explore the vast heavens and earths , in fact his unfettered heart wished it more.
