The Bermuda Triangle in North Atlantic sea is one the places with most notorious history with ship wreckage , a graveyard for ships. The theories being the presence of Atlantis, geomagnetic disruptions whatnot!!.Let's see our mc first.
"Karl have you found any details down there?" The captain of the ship Atlantis1 have asked through sonar communication from the massive ship above water.
"Not yet captain" said Karl who is in the safest submarine of the 23rd century replied. "I think it is a waste of our company to conduct this expedition captain , the myth of atlantis is just a story of the old folks of the past. How can a city even exist under water , that is not even possible in this era without investing all our current technology ,even with that we could only build 2 cities below sea level at 1000ft."
"I don't think we are in a position to criticize on this Karl , those rich conglomerate don't have anything else than throwing away those heap shit ton of money that they have accumulated over the years.You can't blame them even with our current technology we could only expand a human's lifespan by 80 yrs no more ,what is more desiring than secrets hidden behind the doors of atlantis. It's the final straw for those rich old pals."
"Yeah right captain, hmm but it sure is a free good ride down here at the the sea."
"Yeah right good for you. Anyways I don't think you are getting out of that small shithole of your submarine any time soon . Enjoy your free ride while I take the look of the calm sea above."

Karl grunted. "It is not as boring as you might think here captain ,I experience the one of a kind calmness here down below , though it may not be pleasant for long periods of time, it sure is though a life time experience in this dark blue void of water."
"Good for the nerdy guy to be holed up in there." The captain laughed followed by a mock which is heard by Karl at the other end of the submarine.
Karl's nerves bulged in anger for him to attributed to a nerdy guy, sure he may be a marine researcher and he may get involved deep with his work sometimes but that doesn't mean he is a nerd, he didn't get this position for this expedition only through his merits, he is not the only one applied for this position there were many others who are somewhat more capable and experienced in this field of work. He had to pull some strings an had to have some social communication to pull this off.
Anyways he replied-"I am better than some people who get rejected by their girlfriend when asked for hand in marriage, it is better off to be nerdy " with a cackling laughter at the end. It is now captain's turn to be fuming with anger with his head nearly going read.
He calmed down and replied -"Yeah Yeah i should know better than to argue with you."
A smooth pleasant voice was heard by those two then -"Is this even an expedition? you both are behaving like children ,concentrate on the matter at hand now, I let you both off to relive some of your steam at the work ,but you are going this for an hour ,are you not sick of this batter ?" said Emily who is the vice captain of Atlantis1.
Emily is a blonde blue eyed girls with eyes sparkling as stars , the captain is looking like a puppy in front of her. Yes that is to be expected as she is the girlfriend George the captain of ship Atlantis1 is pursuing.
"Yeah ok" said George to Emily, his tone indicated that he was somewhat disappointed for interrupting for their chatter, but he didn't dare to raise his voice on his girlfriend.
"I think this expedition is going to take a long time , we only had been on this for few days , we have to at least go through this for months for finding sustainable evidence of The lost city of Atlantis. we have no time to waste." said Emily to George in response for his unpleasant tone.
Suddenly Karl interrupted their conversation saying-"Captain it seems our radars have caught on something"
George asked-"How much distance do you think the objects are there from here ?"
Karl replied "I think it is about 5 Nautical miles from here, and it is coming from about west of here."
Emily said-"I think it is for the best we got an update at least , but don't get overjoyed you two, it might be a lost ship wreckage. First let us see what those unidentified objects are."
Karl goes to the designated location on sonar imagery. He releases two mini bots from the haul under the submarine to the sea bed. The signals by the robots are transmitted live to ship and submarine down below, some murals are seen on black pillars that are semi-damaged with white carvings.
Emily said-"The pillars seem to weigh around at least about 5 to 8 tons approximately and there are a lot of them too. I think we might need some tough cables to unearth them from there."
George said-"It seems the vacation of someone coming to an end. We will need send some more equipment and personnel down there."
After a long 4 days of non-stop stop efforts the murals are unearthed from sea bed and transported to nearest islands of florida where a underground research centre which was built 5 months prior to this operation.
In a room that we now only seemed to be in sci-fi movies is hosting three individuals who are discussing something.
George said-"Yesterday I met Dr.Phillip he was saying those murals are carbon dated and they are about from 10500B.C which is quite around the recorded time of Atlantis of 9600BC by historians."
"It seems the myth of Atlantis is not false after all." said Karl.
Emily retorted "It may not be Atlantis , until we find some very strong evidence ,but technically there is not much we know about Atlantis ,as there are not that many inscriptions that mention it either ,those pillars might have belonged to any other civilization that existed at that time that we may not know."
George replied-" Yes it might be true Phillip is not having easy either, as the carvings of the pillars are not matching any known engravings of the past civilizations. It would be nice if all this got over and we get our large hefty bonuses for the effort on our part."
"Ya Ya that would be quite nice , if two love birds can marry and start a new house with that money." said Karl as he giggled.
George blushed at the statement and Emily glared with her blue eyes toward Karl, but it seems she is also somewhat happy based on her facial expressions , but she is too proud to admit it, it is not your everyday that the captain blushes like this , it is not that this tall muscular gorilla 6ft tall blushes like this everyday.
Karl is thinking how to tease Captain, on next alcohol party with his colleagues . It would be a quite a sight to see.
They are discussing other regular matters on this expedition with enthusiasm , and about their future prospects only to be interrupted by a slight knock on their door.

A short guy about 5 feet came in ,he is somewhat on the lean side of the spectrum.
Bill who is the assistant said facing to the three-"Dr Phillip has found some clues regarding the inscriptions and requested to meet you three and discuss about his findings to you and the other teams working on the mission."
