Molded into the perfect assassin, she is given a simple mission: infiltrate Ravenswood High, uncover secrets about a powerful family, and ensure their destruction. It should have been an easy task... or so she thought. But when a series of brutal murders shakes the school, Annabelle becomes the prime suspect. Sure, she's a killer, but these deaths aren’t her doing. Someone is pulling the strings, setting her up for a crime she didn’t commit. Framed and on the run, her only chance of survival lies with the most feared bully in school—the very person she was sent to kill. Chapter 1 - Ding Dong

A lone car drove through the unusually silent road, its rear lights piercing its way into the dark, illuminating the path ahead for the man behind the wheel.

"Thomas' house warming party was nice, wasn't it?"he asked his wife who sat in the passenger's seat cradling her two babies who were apparently twins. One of them sat eerily silent and staring into space while holding on tight to his mother's small finger. The other was more active cause she kept babbling babyishly, playing with her small toy puppy.

"It was fun,"the woman grumbled.

"Really, Tiff? Okay, what happened?"the man asked, instantly recognizing his wife's tone of displeasure.

"Harry's wife must've felt like an angel tonight. I mean, did she really think wearing that million-dollar worth of a necklace would make me jealous? Like, really?"Tiffany scoffed, looking out of the window with an irritated pout and the man, Jason, chuckled, shaking his head at his wife's seemingly cute Jealousy.

"Of course you wouldn't be jealous. You have tons of them back at home. You just choose to not show off,"the man replied, humouring her even when he knew right where the conversation was heading.

"Exactly!"She agreed sharply. "But...I don't have the one she wore, darling. Darcy said it's a new model. I want it, Jason."

"But it's not like you even wear them, Tiff. You can't just keep gathering a collection of gems and stones. It's a waste, reckless spending,"Jason pointed out.

"But Jason….."Tiffany was saying when she looked ahead to see someone in the middle of the road. Her eyes widened in alarm as she yelled out, "Jason, watch out!!!"

Instantly slamming his foot on the brake, the car screeched loudly to a jarring stop, luckily halting just before it could hit the standing figure.

Jason frowned, wondering what a sane person would be doing standing there at a very late hour of the night. He tried craning his neck to see the girl's face, but he failed 'cause her face was perfectly obscured by her long black hair.

He expected her to eventually move out of the road, or say something. But she did none of that, making the situation look a whole lot stranger than it already was.

Tiffany, gripped by mother's instincts, tightened her arms around her babies.

"Who's she?"she asked in a whisper, her voice laced with fear. And who wouldn't get scared in a situation like this?

"I have absolutely no idea. Think she's crying? Maybe I should go check it out,"Jason spoke in concern, but Tiffany instantly forbade it.

"No! You'll do no such thing. I mean, look at her. She's giving off major Wednesday Addams vibes, plus the fact that she looks like lasers are going to shoot out of her palms any moment from now. I mean, just look at her,"Tiff expressed her fears and her husband shook his head.

"You should limit the fantasy and horror movies you watched. Stick with romance,"Jason spoke in a mumble before hitting on his steering, letting out the loud sound of a sharp, blaring horn.

"Hey, girl. What do you think you're trying to do? Get yourself killed or something? Get out of the damn road!"he shouted, trying to make sure he was being heard. But that was when she finally raised her head, her white pupils and irises staring dead at them. Her face was naturally pale white, her lips painted abyssal black, and her long, high collared gown only made her look a lot more ghostly.

Jason's breath hitched.

"God!"Tiffany gasped, recoiling at the sight of the ghostly face she was seeing. "Jason, reverse and get us the hell out of here!!"She shrieked.

But her husband wasn't even able to hear her at the moment. He was rather frozen, staring at the girl who never seemed to blink.

He recognized her. She was the girl who belonged to the man he had betrayed.

No, it couldn't be. The time to pay for his sins couldn't possibly have come so soon, could it? Jason kept staring at the girl's piercing eyes, paralyzed by shock as a slow, menacing grin stretched across her black-painted lips. Then, ever so deliberately, she raised her hand and made a chilling gesture that said, I'll-kill-you.

"Honey, what the fuck are you doing? Drive us the fuck out of here!!!"Tiffany's screams seemed to jolt the man back to reality as he fumbled around with his keys, trying to rev the engine back to life but it refused to turn over.

Taking doll-like steps, the girl reached for the bottom of the car and grabbed onto it firmly.

Metals groaned, tires screeched helplessly.

But she didn't crash the car, no. She simply just dragged it with her, walking forward, with the sound of scraping metal ringing deep into the night.

"Jason, do something!"Tiffany cried out for the love of life, holding on tight to her kids as their tiny bodies bounced violently inside the car from the abrupt movements.

"What the hell can I do?! You see that girl? K sent her!"Jason replied helplessly, trying to open the door but all of a sudden it felt like the doors all got jammed. His blood ran ice cold.

"K?"Tifanny asked, her voice trembling.

"I thought you said he wouldn't be able to find out? How come?"

The cries of both babies filled the car and the teenage looking girl pulling the car was slowly beginning to get pissed. Her eyes which were pinned on a small but open garage ahead, were slowly hardening.

"What do you think? I tried everything to cover my tracks!! I tried my best to make sure he didn't find out that I'd been stealing from him for years. This is all your fault! You're the reason this is happening. Ask your precious stones to come save you,"Jason snapped, his blood turning cold with anger and fear as they got closer to the garage.

"Is…."Tiffanny swallowed hard. "Is she going to kill us?"

Jason whipped his head towards her, shooting her a hard glare. "What? No, she's only going to teach us chemistry and then let us go. Of course she's going to kill us!"

Tiffany flinched, sobbing lowly. "But I don't want to die. What about my kids? Who'll take care of them?"she asked, her low sobs gradually becoming louder.

Jason was becoming pissed. The only reason he'd even stolen from his boss in the first place was to satisfy his insatiable wife. It was always the most expensive things she eyed and he loved her. He wouldn't want his not being to afford her make him loose her. But seeing as things turned out now, he should've known better. He never should've allowed her sweet talk her way into convincing him to cross his unforgivable boss.

Now he was going to die. And not just him but everyone connected to him in one way or the other.

"What makes you think they're going to be alive? He'll find them and do to them exactly what this girl's going to do to us,"he spoke, pulling on his hair with his shaky hands.

He regretted his decisions. He wished he could make them right.

"Who the hell is she? And how the hell is a 14 year old girl lifting this car like it's nothing!? I'm scared, Jason. She looks like a monster,"Tiffanny wailed louder.

"Scared? Well, you should be, because she's no 14 year old. She's who we call lady death. The living doll. Her name's Annabelle."

Jason turned to look at his wife but she was unconscious. She'd fainted. His babies were bleeding due to the countless times their fragile bodies recklessly hit the car due to how rashly Annabelle handled the car.

Jason couldn't help but panic. It was a matter of roughly 10 seconds before they got into the garage so he desperately tried all he could to at least force the door open. Family later, himself first. He was going to rescue himself and run.

Battling hard with his keys, he finally managed to open the door, but he didn't get out because they were already in the garage and Annabelle dropped the car with a loud, echoing bang. The moment she turned to close the garage's door, Jason took his chance, got out and hid inside a container. He was stealth enough to not alert the girl.

"God, please. God, please,"Jason kept mumbling in his heart, as he tried to keep his ragged breathings in check.

Annabelle shut the door closed, keeping the moonlight outside as darkness enveloped the garage. Despite the dark, she walked as though she could see very clearly.

Taking robotic steps towards the car, she tore the driver's door away from the car, taking a peek into it.

Tiffany was still unconscious, one of the baby suffered a brain bleeding and was no longer breathing, the last baby sat still in silence, sucking on his thumb.

"Nuisance,"Annabelle muttered before reaching for the baby's head. The baby froze as if trying to sense if he was in trouble or not since he couldn't see in the dark.

Annabelle tightened her grip on the baby's head and he attempted to scream but just as the first note was eluding his tiny throat, he went mute. Silenced forever as his blood spluttered all over Annabelle's face.

She gave Tiffany a silent look as if wondering what to do with the extremely weak woman.

Sighing, she got her dagger out of the strap around her thighs. With one flex throw, it's buried in-between Tiffany's throat and she doesn't get the chance to respond to the pain cause Annabelle pushed it dipper, slicing through flesh and bon with ease. Tiffany's head lolled forward, detached. Her body turned limp. Annabelle grabbed the dagger, using Tiffany's luxurious dinner gown clean off the blood before turning around, taking slow, calculative steps.

"Ding, Dong. I know you can hear me. Open up the door, I only wanna play a little,"she sang the ritualistic Hide & Seek song slowly, her melodious yet taunting voice ringing through the silent garage. It was a ritual of hers. Singing her favorite song to her victims. It was the best farewell gift she could offer them before they left the cold and brutal world behind.

Jason trembled, feeling his heart race, as at that moment, he could clearly hear how fast his blood was pumping against his veins in his own ears. He slowly brought his hands to his ears, trying to clamp them close. So he didn't hear the song of Lady Death.

"Ding, Dong. You can't keep me waiting, it's already too late for you to try and run away,"she sang soulfully, but the more she sang, the more Jason felt his soul elude him.

He was going to be caught by her. And then he'd be killed in the most brutal way ever. He heard it. He heard it. He heard his baby being silenced for eternity. He heard his wife being brutally killed. Now, while he was slightly hurt about it, there was nothing worse than him being next on the kill list.

"I see you through the window....our eyes are locked together....."she lowered her melodious voice into a whisper, her footsteps no longer being heard.

It felt like the song was paused for a while and the whole thing felt strange to Jason who removed his hands from his ears, trying to peek outside and see if she was attempting to leave or something only for the hair at the back of his neck to be left standing. Shivers ran down his spine as his heart hammered against his ribcage more furiously than before.

Hot breath could be felt against his ear. "I can sense your horror, though I'd like to see it closer,"Annabelle whispered in his ear, a sinister smile resting on her lips.

Jason's heart stopped beating for a second.....two...and then he turned, locking eyes with the very girl who held the key to the gates of hell.
