In the kingdom of magic, within the corridors of the palace, Olivia was making her way to her room. She finally arrived, threw her body on the bed, and let out a strong sigh. But she stood up again, removed the sword from her waist, and returned to sleep on the bed, curling up, feeling a disturbance in her emotions. Fear dominated her mind. Although she appeared strong and fearless in front of everyone, inside, she was terrified. A strange force, different from everyone else's powers, a mixture of light and darkness—she did not know which would eventually dominate her.
A knock on the door brought her out of her fugue. She straightened up and motioned for the knocker to come in.
A simple-looking girl came in and said, "My princess, the fortune teller has arrived from her trip and is asking to see you now."
Olivia wondered what the matter was.
The girl replied politely, "I don't know, ma'am."
Olivia took a deep breath, rubbed her face tiredly, and said, "Okay, I'll go to her room now."
The girl nodded and left.
Olivia got up wearily, her heart dreading this meeting. The fortune teller's words always came true. Olivia still remembered when she first met her.
Flashback
Olivia was a fifteen-year-old girl, playing in the dark corridors of the palace. Her feet unconsciously took her to the Seer's room, driven by a curiosity she couldn't resist. But this time was not like the others.
As soon as she entered, the Oracle slowly raised her head, and her eyes began to change. Blackness swallowed their whites whole, as if a mysterious darkness had engulfed them. Olivia froze in place, her tension paralyzing her—she couldn't even catch her breath.
Then, in a hollow voice that seemed to come out of nowhere, the Oracle spoke her words:
"An unchanging destiny... Heir to both light and darkness... A struggle that will never end... Which one will win? No one knows. But you... you will be the key to the end."
Then her eyes returned to normal, and she took a deep breath as if she had returned from another world. She stared at Olivia, the signs of distraction still on her face, then muttered in a voice that Olivia could barely hear:
"Be careful, little one... When the time comes, you will have no choice but to fight."
Olivia shuddered and couldn't stay there any longer. She ran out of the room, trying to erase what she had heard from her mind. But she failed... because the Oracle's words never left her mind. Especially after her prophecy came true!
End of Flashback
Olivia took a deep breath, coming back to the present, and put her hand on her heart, which was beating hard. The Oracle's prophecy had come true, and she now carried unique powers, but she couldn't reveal herself—she would be ostracized by everyone. But what would the Oracle say this time? Would her fate be closer to fulfillment?
With heavy footsteps, she left her room and headed to the place where the Oracle was waiting for her, knowing that something important was about to happen.
Olivia reached the room and hesitated for a moment before placing her hand on the handle. She took a deep breath and slowly walked in, only to be greeted by the smell of incense that filled the room, making her even more nervous.
"You're not late."
The Oracle's voice was calm but strangely heavy. She was sitting in an old wooden chair, eyes closed, as if she was still in another world.
Olivia approached and sat in front of her after taking a deep breath. When the Oracle opened her eyes, Olivia felt as if her gaze penetrated her deepest fears.
"I have seen a vision of you," the Oracle said in a soft but clear voice.
Olivia stiffened, swallowing hard, her heart pounding madly, but she pulled herself together and said in a raspy voice, "What did you see?"
The Seer stared at her for a moment before saying:
"Your destiny is intertwined with those who hold the same paradox... Light and darkness have united, and the most powerful creatures will be reborn...
What was written has changed... From light comes darkness, and from darkness comes light...
The black wolf tattoo will be the mark... and one person will be your help...
The choice is yours and yours alone... Either your salvation will be in union, or it will be your doom...
But beware... danger lurks around every corner... Betrayal is closer than you think...
Don't trust anyone... You are on your own against what's coming."
Olivia felt a cold shiver run through her body. The Oracle's words were vague, but they carried an unsettling meaning. She looked at her with wide eyes, trying to understand, but the Oracle closed her eyes again as if she had withdrawn from the conversation.
Olivia couldn't help but wonder: Who is this wolf, and will he be her savior or her destruction?
Olivia returned to her room in disappointment, the weight of the words she had heard still pressing on her chest. She was trying to come to terms with who she was, to understand her power that separated her from everyone else, but fate grew more mysterious every time she thought she was close to understanding it.
Throwing her body onto the bed, she sighed deeply as she felt her mind in constant conflict. Every time she tried to cope, something new emerged, distracting her more than before. Would she ever be able to understand who she really was, or would fate not give her time to think?
She covered her eyes with her palm, trying to stop the flood of thoughts, but the Oracle's words never left her mind:
"The choice is yours alone... Either your salvation will be in union, or it will be your doom..."
