Chapter 4 - xxx-r18

"If you are done speaking, Innes, you can get out. Emily, come take the Luna out."

This was him driving her away.

Emily, at the sound of her name, hearing the power call from the Alpha, rushed in and knelt down, sensing the strange atmosphere.

Innes shifted, not glancing at Emily, who had come to take her away. She only glanced at Maxwell, and Maxwell refused to fully look at her.

It has all ended, she mumbled in her heart and turned.

"Emily, I can take myself out of here. You should go and carry out the rest of your duties."

Emily nodded awkwardly. This wasn't the scene she had expected when she entered. The Luna was telling her to leave and carry out other duties, but she had been assigned by the Alpha to always keep her company. Now what should I do?

Innes paid no attention to Emily and just walked out of the room.

Her heart was locked cold with sadness, unwilling to turn back and see Maxwell's face, which would surely look at her with hatred.

All she needed was his trust, but he did not give it to her.

Emily bowed to Maxwell, preparing to take her leave.

"Alpha, I'll be on my way."

But Maxwell stopped her. "Look after her from the shadows because she doesn't seem to want you close right now."

Emily twitched her mouth and nodded, acting respectfully toward the Alpha. Once he was done giving his orders, she walked out.

---

Innes wiped her face, her cheeks, for the tenth time, but the tears wouldn't stop.

Stop crying, Innes . It's all a dream. It never happened. Maybe if you sleep and wake up, everything will be okay, she chanted in her heart, forcing a smile onto her face.

Her hand moved to rub her belly, but in the middle of doing so, she suddenly puked out blood.

"Why am I suffering like this? Why am I the one more hurt after all of this?" Innes whispered in her heart, looking at her reflection in the mirror sadly.

Max was very cold. Even as he broke the mate bond with her, he did not look affected. The mate bond did not get to him.

Was he that heartless? Had she been blind all along?

As she thought of this, memories started coming back—all of Max's actions that she once thought were kind, gentle, and loving now appeared as nothing more than indifferent acts of politeness.

He was just being polite and respectful to her!

Her reality shattered. Tears fell from her eyes as Innes buried her head on her thighs.

"He asked me to leave the pack, so I'm leaving the pack," Innes mumbled, clutching her dress tightly.

She should wait for Max. She shouldn't go anywhere.

Innes kept thinking that if she left too soon, Max would come back looking for her, saying he was sorry and asking her to return.

Thinking of this, Innes smiled again.

But if she left Max, where would she go? She was just a rogue werewolf living in the woods next to the riverbank until she saved a wolf by the sea—who turned out to be Max.

She had given him air, taking away her first kiss in the process, and she had blushed.

But air wasn't enough. She had to feed him her own blood to cure him before he woke up.

She had a rare bloodline, something she had noticed since she was a little rogue werewolf. Anything that drank her blood would be healed instantly.

And it was the same for Max.

She had saved Max with her blood, caring for him until the people from his pack came looking for him and took him away—while she hid in the trees, watching him leave.

The place she had always wanted to leave… far away from the rogue werewolves who bullied her, especially one particularly bad wolf…

Max was the only person she had ever thought was kind to her.

"I'll wait for you, Max. You will come and say that you are sorry to me, right?"

Innes muttered, about to close her eyes, lying on her bed, waiting for Max to come.

---

Innes had not fully closed her eyes yet when she heard a knock at her door.

Her heart leaped with excitement, thinking it was Max. Was it Max? Was it him?

He could be here to see her.

With excitement filling her heart, Innes rushed to the door and opened it—only for her mouth to be engulfed by a fabric. She fainted.

Four arms reached out, carrying her away.

---

"Luna!" Emily yelled, banging on the door. As the room opened, she scented a strange Alpha male inside.

For some reason, different Betas appeared, blocking her path. They battled with her before she could reach the Luna. She overpowered them and defeated the Betas—thankfully, they were of a lower rank than her.

They didn't have the skills she had.

"I need to tell the Alpha! He must hear this!"

With that, Emily rushed out of the room, running to inform Max.

---

"She's a beauty… she's gorgeous."

Innes weakly opened her eyes, hearing the voice of a strange Alpha laughing near her.

Their scent was suffocating.

She opened her eyes quickly, wanting to get up. Something was wrong.

She wiggled her wrists and realized she was tied up.

"Who are you?" Innes asked, looking at the two Alphas before her.

They were fine men, but the emotions they gave off told her they were not good people.

"Dear Luna, you are almost as beautiful as the Moon Goddess. It would be a pleasure for us to have a taste of what the Alpha has been having all these years."

Alarms rang in her heart at their words.

Why would they do this to her? Who sent them?

"You can't harm me! Don't come close to me!" Innes shouted, chills running down her back.

She had never been touched by anyone else except Max. These Alphas… what were they going to do to her?

Was it what she had always feared?

The Alphas exchanged signals, hearing Innes scream for help. One of them gave a signal, and another stepped forward—slapping Innes across the cheek.

The impact made Innes go silent.

Tears spilled from her eyes as she looked up at the Alpha who had hit her.

Her eyes trembled as she spotted the increasing number of Alphas in the room.

Twelve… eleven? Innes couldn't count them.

All she felt was horror.

"Who sent you? Is it that woman? Is it Gloria?" Innes cried, her lips trembling.

"Is it the pack? Do you all want me to leave?"

Her voice cracked between sobs as she begged.

"I'll leave the pack. But please… spare me and my child. Don't do what you're about to do."

She tried to sound confident, forcing strength into her voice.

The Alpha paused, as if considering her words.

But then, his next signal shattered her heart.

"Hold her down.

I'll rip her clothes off."

Innes struggled as the Alpha approached her.

"No! Please! Don't come any closer!"

"You all must have mates, right? You can't do this to someone else's mate!"

The Alphas grabbed her arms tightly.

Her hands were already tied, yet they still restrained her—as if expecting her to break free at any moment.

Horror consumed Innes as the Alpha gripped the front of her dress and yanked it open.

Her bare, plump chest was exposed.

Tears streamed down her face.

The Alpha continued ripping her dress until he reached her thighs.

He hesitated at the last covering—then spread her legs apart.

Innes clenched her eyes shut, tears leaking from the corners.

Let the Moon Goddess give me strength…

She couldn't fight all of them.

Would she be defiled?

Her eyes remained closed.

The only sounds she heard were the men unzipping their pants.

The Alpha who had spread her legs apart pressed forward.

She felt his cock press against the base of her pussy.

Another Alpha came, grabbing her breasts.

Innes bit her tongue, trying to force herself to die.

She would rather die now…

Her tongue was bitten terribly, blood pooling in her mouth.

But death didn't come quickly—not as she expected.

She couldn't kill herself this way.

For her child.

For the sake of her purity.

Innes mustered her courage and called out to her wolf.

Her wolf was injured—if she forcefully summoned her out, she would die.

But there was no choice.

The Alphas were too busy, focused on taking their pleasure from her body.

Bones cracked.

The painful process of transformation began.

The petite, fragile woman turned into a massive wolf.

With a snarl, she caught the throat of the first Alpha—just as he was about to thrust himself inside her.

Before the others could react, Innes ripped his head off and threw it aside.

Then she lunged—tearing open the back of another Alpha.

She moved too fast.

She didn't even know where this strength came from.

Her mind was blank.

She slaughtered them all—a breeding werewolf tearing through powerful Alphas with nothing but her claws and fangs.

"Max… I hate you."

The werewolf growled—as if in pain.

Then, as suddenly as it started, her transformation reversed.

Innes collapsed back into her human form, naked, surrounded by dead Alphas.

Pain radiated from her very soul.

Her last strength was gone.

Her wolf… was dead.

It had been her final transformation.

"That was… wow."

A stranger's voice broke the silence—accompanied by the slow, mocking sound of clapping.

A chill ran down Innes 's spine.
