Ethan stepped out of the village and entered the dense forest stretching out before him. Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, creating patterns of shadows that moved gently across the ground. The fresh air filled his lungs, and for the first time in his life, he felt the real sensation of adventure.
However, there was no time to be distracted.

His eyes quickly scanned the surroundings for resources. He spotted some wild bushes with small red berries. His hand reached out, but suddenly a warning appeared in front of his eyes.

Ethan quickly withdrew his hand.
"Good thing there's a warning system. If not, I might've lost half my health already," he muttered with a small laugh.
He continued his search and eventually found a tree with bright green fruits that shimmered faintly.

Without hesitation, he picked a few fruits and took a bite. The sweet, slightly sour taste spread across his tongue, and he soon felt a warm wave of energy flow through his body.

After filling his stomach, the next step was to face his first challenge.
Not far from where he stood, he heard rustling from the bushes. Ethan immediately readied his sword, prepared for any potential danger.
From behind the bushes, a black wolf with glowing red eyes emerged. The creature snorted softly, revealing its sharp fangs.

The wolf lunged at him with incredible speed!
His reflexes kicked in, and he raised his sword to block, but the force of the attack sent him stumbling back a few steps.

"That attack is strong!" Ethan cursed himself for not preparing better.
The wolf attacked again, but this time Ethan tried to dodge to the side. His movement was still a bit stiff, but it was enough to avoid the creature's sharp claws.
Quickly, he swung his sword.

The creature howled in anger, but Ethan didn't give it a second chance. He immediately struck again, this time landing a blow to its neck.

Ethan exhaled in relief as the wolf's body slowly transformed into light particles and vanished.

The first quest was complete.
He looked at his sword, now slightly smeared with digital blood, and smiled with satisfaction.
"I think I'm starting to understand this world. This is just the beginning."
