RAFAYEL LIOR DOWAN
Just as I prepared to unleash my omnipotence, a shadow swept over me like a dark cloud blotting out the sun. My gaze shot upward, and my breath caught in my throat. A giant phoenix soared across the sky, its wings spanning what seemed like an eternity, each feather shimmering like molten gold. What kind of world was this, to harbor such a magnificent creature? The sight was both awe-inspiring and terrifying.
Without a moment's hesitation, I activated one of my skills, feeling the familiar rush of power course through me.
[Elemental Control: (On)|Off]
- Activate Pyrokinesis
It felt fitting to wield fire against a creature so intrinsically linked to the element. I could sense the heat radiating from the phoenix even from this distance, but it seemed oblivious to my presence as it danced through the sky, swooping low over the lush forest canopy. I seized the opportunity, focusing my energy on the flames that flickered to life in my palms.
With a swift gesture, I sent a torrent of black fire arcing through the air. The flames surged forth, twisting and writhing like serpents, until they connected with the phoenix. A roar erupted from the magnificent creature as my fire, insatiable and unquenchable, wrapped around it. The black flames licked hungrily at its feathers, and the phoenix plummeted from the sky, crashing violently into the ground.
"You damn human, what have you done to me!?" it screeched, its voice resonating with a mixture of fury and pain. The words sent a shiver down my spine, but I stood my ground, brimming with newfound confidence.
[Time Dilation: (On)|Off]
- Activate Time walk
I activated my time dilation skill, feeling the rush of space and time as I walked within time. In less than a second, I was already in front of the fallen phoenix, now a brilliant spectacle of fiery feathers and smoke. It looked up at me, eyes wide with a mixture of fear and recognition. I could see the vibrant hues of its plumage contrasted starkly with the charred remnants of my fire.
[Passive Skill: Cosmic Presence]
"Milord, I didn't know it was you. Forgive my insolence," the phoenix stammered, its voice now tinged with reverence rather than rage. The sudden shift in its tone hit me like a wave. Was it possible that this creature recognized my power, my status as a god in this strange world?
As I processed this revelation, my instincts urged me to cancel the effects of the fire, feeling a strange connection to the phoenix, as if a part of me resonated with its fiery essence. Just then, a system prompt appeared before me, illuminating the air with its golden glow.
[Accept Infernal Ember as your guardian beast? (Yes/No)]
"Interesting," I mused, my curiosity piqued. Here was a creature of immense power, now humbled before me, and I had the chance to forge a bond with it.
"Hey, bird," I started boldly, "be my servant."
The phoenix's eyes widened further, disbelief mingling with awe. "Milord, my name is Infernal Ember, guardian of this continent, the Vermilion Valley. I have watched over this land for centuries, and now I will serve you faithfully."
[(Yes)/No]
The air crackled with energy as I extended my hand toward Infernal Ember, feeling the promise of a new alliance between us. As our foreheads met in a gentle touch, a flash of light enveloped us, bright and blinding. In that instant, I felt a surge of warmth and power flow through me, a binding of our essences. The pact was solidified; we were now linked in purpose and spirit.
When the light receded, I climbed atop Infernal Ember's back, feeling the heat radiating from her body. "Let's fly," I commanded, and with a powerful thrust of her wings, we ascended into the sky. The world below shrank away, the forest transforming into a patchwork of greens and browns.
As we soared above the treetops, I gazed out at the sprawling landscape. The wind whipped through my hair while Infernal Ember glided effortlessly, her wings catching the sun's rays. I could feel her spirit intertwining with mine—a bond forged not just through power, but through respect and understanding.
"Milord," Infernal Ember's voice resonated in my mind, calm and steady, "I am yours to command. What shall we do first?"
I contemplated her words, excitement bubbling within me. The possibilities were endless. "We will explore this world together. I want to understand the extent of my powers and discover what else lies beyond this forest."
"Very well," she replied, her wings flaring majestically. "I can sense powerful energies nearby. To the north, there are ancient dungeon gates, said to lead to the depths of alternate realms where lost artifacts and powerful foes reside."
"Ancient dungeon gates?" I echoed, intrigued. "That sounds intriguing."
But as we navigated through the skies, I realized that for someone with omnipotent abilities, visiting a dungeon would be of little use. Instead, I wanted to see more of this world.
Flying over the forest, the horizon opened up, and soon I spotted something remarkable: a city shimmering in the distance, not far from where we were. With my omnipotent vision, I could see anything no matter how far it was—this was a piece of cake.
"Look, over there! What is that?" I asked, pointing toward the gleaming structure.
"That is Eunoia Kingdom, a city of peace," Infernal Ember replied, her voice filled with admiration. "It is said to be a sanctuary where beings from all realms come together in harmony."
"Let's go there," I declared, eager to explore.
With a powerful thrust of her wings, Infernal Ember soared toward the city. As we approached, the details became clearer: floating islands connected by shimmering bridges, towers glinting in the sunlight, and a vibrant marketplace bustling with life.
Landing in a grand plaza filled with creatures of all shapes and sizes, I felt an exhilarating sense of adventure. Eunoia Kingdom was alive with energy, and I was eager to uncover its secrets.
"Right away," Infernal Ember responded immediately, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.
I nodded, my heart racing. With a city full of possibilities before us, I was ready to embrace whatever awaited in this new world. Together with Infernal Ember, the guardian of Vermilion Valley, I felt a surge of potential for the adventures that lay ahead. The bond we had forged would be the key to unlocking the mysteries of this realm, and I was prepared to face whatever challenges awaited us.
