Ethan gasped for air as he awoke in a unfamiliar room with florescent lighting and humming sounds all around the room.
"Where am I?" Ethan thought to himself as he looked around the room. He eventually noticed that he was dressed in a light blue hospital gown.
It clicked in his head that he was I a hospital room recovering after that fall he had. Ethan had only been to a hospital once so he couldn't recognize one on sight.
After realizing he was in a hospital Ethan was hit with a wave of dread that was visible on his face.
"How am I going to pay this bill?" Ethan thought to himself as he stared to panic. He didn't have insurance and he was barely making enough money to pay the rent for his crappy apartment.
Ethan began to hyperventilate and his heartbeat began to rise as his panic got worse as he imagined going bankrupt and ending up on the street.
As he spiraled he was quickly grounded by a loud ping that sounded throughout his mind that caused him to wince in pain.
Suddenly that strange golden window appeared again. It was smaller now than it was when he first saw it, it was the size of his chest and it now looked thr size of a smartphone.
Ethan touched the small window with his pointer finger, he felt a bit of static prick his finger as he touched the golden window.
After touching the window it grew back to its original size and Ethan could now read the words he couldn't before.
"You have been a selected by the Infinite Money System. Congratulations on becoming the owner of a System" is what it said with some confetti around the words.
"No way! No way! No way! No way! I got one of those systems from Chinese novels and manhwa" Ethan thought to himself as he stared at the window.
He swiped past the message and another message popped up.
"As a starting bonus you have been rewarded with, 15 Million, A golden bank card, New shoes, Voucher for one item in shop" The message read.
"A shop?" Ethan said as he scrolled past the message. The system had a very simplistic design. There were six golden buttons.

Ethan skipped past everything else and he pressed the shop button. Pressing the button lead to a dark blue store page with a ton of different items all ranging in price.
In the corner of some items was a little voucher icon which ment the voucher could be used to obtain that item for free.
There was some stuff the shop caught Ethan's eye, such as a 2024 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a modest penthouse, a luxurious watch.
After careful consideration Ethan decided to purchase the penthouse. His living situation was more important to him than a admittedly awesome car or watch.
"Now to check out some missions" Ethan thought to himself as he pressed the missions button.
He was brought to a light gray list with three sections dividing the page. At the top was a section labeled "Completed", in the middle of the page was a section labeled "Active", and below that was a section labeled "Available."
They were all blank except for a single missions in the "Active" section of the page.
Ethan curiously tapped the mission to see what it was about. The mission window popped up and showed the mission info.

"Rebate function? Hell yes!" Ethan thought to himself as he read the mission info.
Ethan liked the Idea of getting 10× the amount of money he spent back, especially since it was super convenient to just spend money instead of having to do missions to get some.
As Ethan was celebrating his system a female nurse walked into the room holding a clipboard.
"Oh! Your finally awake" The nurse said in a friendly but exhausted voice. "The other nurses thought you wouldn't make it" She said writing down stuff onto her clipboard
"How long have I been out?" Ethan asked his voice slightly hoarse from dryness.
"Uh... it says here you have been out for around 18 hours" The horse said scanning her clipboard.
Ethan was pretty surprised, he thought he was out for an hour or two and not almost an entire days worth of time.
"Am I okay to leave?" Ethan asked. "Yes you just have to sign this paperwork" The nurse said handing him a form.
Ethan signed out the discharge paperwork and left his hospital room. Ethan wore his new pair of shoes out to the front desk.
The first thing Ethan did with the systems money was ay his 18,000 dollar hospital bill.
After paying the bill a notification popped up saying his first mission was completed and he got 180,000 from his rebate function and on top of that he got rewards from completing the mission.
"Congratulations on completing the Tutorial mission" popped up with virtual confetti.
"You have received, a dark blue sports bike, English summer home, Hint token"
"A Hint token?"
