Bai Lan was on a run, she could hardly breath coupled with the fact that she was now heavily pregnant she cannot use her spiritual energy beyond a certain limit, she had no idea where she was, all around her there was a huge forest, trees were towering and no human was insight, not to mention she has to fight with spirit animals along the way now she was at her wits end.
She had a lightning and earth elemental core, however she had made a protective barrier around her belly to currently protect her child, she cannot lose this baby.
As a mother this baby was her life and she will protect her child at any cost.
She was on a run since six months now, finally she saw a dilapidated temple on the far right of the forest, its tomb barely visible due to the towering trees, but thinking there might be some benevolent soul who might save her child she still took hasty steps toward it.
However when she called for help she found that the temple was truly empty, there wasn't a soul in sight inside the temple.
The temple had a very old statute of a deity sitting inside its sanctum sanatorium the statue to her shock was actually made of rare black gold, the head of the deity was beautifully carved and on top of the head was a huge serpent which shielded the statute completely.
Bai Lan who was at her wits end suddenly knelt down in front of the deity and wailed,"I as a spiritual master has never believed in God like the normal humans of the mundane world but today when all my power and people have abandoned me i have come in your shelter, please protect us." with that she touched her bulging belly.

She quickly fumbled around and found an oil lamp and with the help of her lightning element lit the lamp.
Just as the room became bright again suddenly her water broke and the intense pain made her feel as if the bones around her abdominal shaft have broken.
The pain was so intense that she almost fainted from the sudden attack.
If it was ten times painful for a human to give birth to a child then it was almost thousand times more worse for spiritual masters, because firstly after entering Nascent Soul stage it was impossible to give birth not to mention she was already at the Great Spiritual master Stage a stage higher then the Nascent Soul.

Suddenly out of nowhere a sudden overwhelming emotion shook her littler heart and she started wailing,'No she didn't want her mother to die, this women gave birth to her she cannot let her die, only if she was a little older she could have saved her no matter what.'
The small underground room was full of cries of a small baby however no one can reach out or help the mother and child as no voice leaked out from the solid walls of the room.
Looking at her small body still covered in her mother's blood suddenly she felt very sad and guilty,'That abominable death god must have done this on purpose.'
She reached out and touched her mother's body with her small hands, not wanting to let go, suddenly her small hands shone with rich green light as if a small green lotus was blooming in her little hands and a beautiful green light covered the body of Bai Lan, slowly fixing her bones and joining the cracks formed on her core.
