Synopsis
The world ended 50 years ago, but that was just the beginning. Humanity now survives within floating citadels, and the strongest among them train at Ragnarok High, a battle academy where students fight for their place in the next era. Meet Jett Hellsing, a troublemaking street fighter forced to enroll at Ragnarok High after accidentally knocking out a teacher who turned out to be a god. Now, with divine execution on his heels, his only way to survive is to prove himself in the Divine Trials, a series of brutal battles against monsters, demi-gods, and power-hungry students who want him dead. But there’s a twist—his only weapon is a rusty pipe and his own two fists. No magic. No blessings. Just pure, unfiltered rage. Welcome to the Apocalypse Academy, where the only graduation ceremony is Armageddon.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Welcome to Hell, Freshman!

Jett Hellsing had been in a lot of fights before.

Street brawls, underground cage matches, even a few back-alley scuffles against dudes twice his size. But nothing—nothing—had prepared him for fighting a god in the middle of homeroom.

"Boy," rumbled the towering figure in front of him, his golden eye gleaming with barely contained fury. "Do you have any idea what you've just done?"

Jett blinked. He looked down at the broken desk, the shattered floor, and the unconscious homeroom teacher slumped against the wall.

"…Okay, so maybe I shouldn't have punched my teacher in the face."

The classroom was in shambles. Chairs were overturned, textbooks were still floating midair from the sheer force of impact, and every single student was either cowering under their desks or straight-up recording the chaos on their divine tablets.

And standing in front of him, radiating sheer godly power, was a very angry Professor Odin—one-eyed principal of Ragnarok High.

"You knocked out Mr. Balder with a single punch," Odin growled. His trench coat billowed as if an unseen storm was swirling around him. "Do you understand what that means, boy?"

Jett scratched the back of his head. "Uh… I'm getting detention?"

"DEATH."

"…Wait, what?"

Odin thrust a hand forward, and suddenly golden runes blazed into existence around Jett's body. The air turned thick, like molten lead was pressing down on his shoulders. His muscles locked up. His heartbeat thundered in his ears.

Odin's voice was like the roar of an oncoming storm.

"By the laws of Ragnarok High, any student who dares strike a divine being must undergo the Divine Trials—a gauntlet of battles against the strongest warriors of the old world. Survive, and you may keep your life."

Jett's eye twitched.

"…Or, you could, y'know, not sentence me to death on my first day."

A small laugh echoed through the classroom. Jett turned his head to see a dark-haired girl in gothic attire, her pale fingers lazily twirling a floating skull above her palm.

Lilith Nyx.

The name clicked in his head immediately—necromancer prodigy, top student in the Death Magic Division, and also very bad news.

"Well, well," Lilith purred, resting her chin in her hand. "I was expecting a dull semester, but this is delightful. I'll be looking forward to your first match, Hellsing."

Jett shot her a glare. "You could at least pretend to be on my side, y'know."

She gave him a lazy smirk. "And miss out on watching you suffer? Not a chance."

"Alright, that's it," Jett groaned. He turned back to Odin, cracking his knuckles. "If I gotta fight some big scary warriors to keep my head, then bring it on. But let's make one thing clear—"

Odin raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Jett grinned, pure reckless confidence radiating off him.

"I'm not losing to anyone. Not gods. Not monsters. No one."

The entire classroom fell silent. Even Odin looked mildly intrigued.

Then, without warning, the golden runes shattered around Jett's body, and an ear-splitting gong rang through the entire school.

The Final Bell had been sounded.

And just like that—the Divine Trials had begun.
