Jaden couldn't sleep.

Jaden's chest tightened.

He grabbed his jacket and slipped out of his room, heart pounding.
He walked through the dark corridors, past the silent training fields, until he reached the back gates.
And there—**waiting in the shadows—**was the man in the dark jacket.
Jaden stepped forward. "Talk."
The man smirked. "You're ready to hear it now?"
Jaden clenched his fists. "Yeah."
The man's smirk widened.
"Good."
Then he leaned in, voice low. "Because Iron Stride isn't what you think it is."
Jaden's pulse spiked.

He knew there was no turning back.
