Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 1:- THE DOORWAY TO DESTINY

Ellen after a typical day at school, returned home. As he stepped through the door, he excitedly shared his day with his mother.

"Mom! My teacher said something amazing today," Ellen began, his eyes sparkling with wonder. "He told us that there are many realms lie undiscovered, waiting to be known" . Isn't that incredible?"

His mother smiled warmly, but Ellen could tell she didn't fully grasp his excitement. After dinner, he retreated to his room, his mind still buzzing with thoughts about his teacher's words. As he lay in bed, he wondered, "What if those other realms really do hold the key to our destiny?….Nah,I am just overthinking."

he said, but his gaze lingered on the horizon

Soon, sleep claimed him, and his thoughts drifted into deep sleep

———

Ellen's sleep was interrupted by a sharp sensation—a small bird had perched on his nose and pecked at him. Startled, he woke up, only to find himself in a breathtaking meadow. The ground was carpeted with vibrant flowers, and a gentle river flowed nearby, its soothing sounds filling the air.

"Where am I?"Ellen muttered, his voice trembling with confusion. He looked around, trying to make sense of his surroundings.

Before he could gather his thoughts, a voice called out to him.

"Elleennn! Over here! where have you been?"

He turned to see a young boy named Charley, no older than ten, running toward him. The boy had a mischievous grin and an air of familiarity, though Ellen was certain he had never met him before.

"Who are you?" Ellen asked, his voice tinged with suspicion. "And how do you know my name?"

The boy chuckled. "Stop kidding moron, let's head home."

Ellen hesitated, but with no other options, he reluctantly followed Charley.

———

The two walked through the meadow until they reached a quaint village. The villagers greeted Ellen warmly, as if they had been expecting him. Yet, despite their friendliness, Ellen couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. He didn't recognize a single face, and the village itself felt both familiar and strange at the same time.

As they approached a small house, Charley turned to Ellen and said, "here we are,we reached home earlier than expected"

Ellen stepped inside, only to be blinded by a sudden flash of light.he heard a voice that lingered on the edge of memory, just out of reach saying "Your journey has just begun…now, you should reach your destiny."

Before he could respond, Ellen woke up, drenched in sweat and gasping for air. He looked around his room, the familiar walls grounding him in reality.

"journey!…destiny!…What was that? he whispered, his heart still racing."Was it all just a dream?"
