The fic im most excited to write out of the 4, but the one where in i have the least ideas of direction. It will be vehemently anti-valyrian so any targ fans should skip out. im not sure what year i want to start this or when, and im not sure if it should start at slavers bay as a lord or as a mercenary fighting in the disputed lands. this will probably be updated the most once i get a idea. this will be pro-slavery, if you have moral qualms id suggest not reading.

Century of blood seems a bit too early of a date imo as I'd like to be able to piggy back a bit off of some historical events. Mantarys is closer to slavers bay then volantis as its part of the old central region of valyria alongside tolos and elyria.

I definitely agree with the idea of taking the dothrakis cavalry though, but I feel as if it would be better to centralize slavers bay before expansion outside, and having them as vassals rather than allies. I'm definitely thinking of raiding for captives around the world though for slaves, definitely in old valyrian lands

During the Century of Blood, let there be a low or mid-tier lord in the region where New Ghis is located. He takes advantage of the chaos to grow his power.

After a few years, once he has solidified his foundation, he seizes the city with his allies and declares himself the New Emperor of Ghis. From there, he begins conquering the cities of Slaver’s Bay, which still hold slave colonies.

In the places he conquers, he enslaves the former rulers, turns the wives and daughters of slave-soldier commanders into bed slaves, and establishes a brothel. Once he strengthens his position again, he forms alliances with other Free Cities and launches an attack on Volantis.

At the same time, he uses his forces to attack the Dothraki, enslaving their people and using their horses to form his own cavalry. During the Volantis campaign, since Mantarys supports Volantis, he invades the city, frees the Ghis-born people there, and enslaves the Valyrian or other non-Ghiscari inhabitants.

I haven't figured out what happens next, but if I do, I'll write again.



imo they are more preislamic but the original culture is basically long gone, the ghiscari in slavers bay have been described as mongrels of races and hold little to no relics of the past, even their religion is just whatever remnants they had of old ghis. so its just gonna be them tryna act up basically, i would expand on the culture that will develop though as a result of mc dynasty

Will we get to explore the kind of culture that the Ghiscari have, I know that it practices slavery but we don’t see much from the Game of Thrones TV series, as we only know about their clothes and history. Would it be like the culture of the Islamic nations during medieval era with a few changes?

oc as there aren't much actual dynasties that we know about, it'll be some bs claim of descent from grazdan the great (mythical founder of ghis)

the ghiscari will have divine right to rule and primogeniture once stuff starts snowballing, the free cities will initially have elections though, so whatever one mc could start in is the only possible one to be voted into power. 

Well what kind of succession would the noble class of the Ghiscari use?

And would the house/dynasty of our MC be custom or from one of the original that are born of created within the history of the Ghiscari empire?

like the synopsis says, the one im most excited for. goal is going to eventually be a resurgent empire of ghiscar, i will figure out how it gets there later.
