Chapter 1 - Birth of the Pheonix

Chapter 1 – Birth of the Phoenix

Dark clouds loomed over the land, rolling in like waves of an endless storm. The air crackled with an unnatural heat, and the people of Solara Region whispered among themselves. A great beast was about to be born.

Deep within the city of Emberreach, inside the grand halls of the Tenma Clan, the cries of a newborn echoed. But his birth was not ordinary. The moment he took his first breath, the sky above the city ignited in a brilliant crimson blaze. A vortex of golden flames spiraled into the heavens, illuminating the region as if the sun had descended upon them.

At that moment, a beast was born.

A newborn phoenix, its feathers shimmering with molten gold, emerged from the ethereal flames and let out a piercing cry. Its wings stretched wide, radiating an aura of both power and destruction. This was a sight never seen before—a Beastborn Phoenix, a creature of legend.

The midwives stepped back in awe, their hands trembling. The head of the Tenma Clan, Rei Tenma, knelt beside his wife, Aya, who held the infant in her arms. He stared at his son with unreadable eyes, then turned his gaze toward the newborn beast that had appeared beside him.

"A phoenix…" Rei murmured. "This child will change the world."

The Three Great Regions & The Beastborne

The world was divided into three great regions—

1. Solara (The Region of Flame & Sky)

2. Vandor (The Region of Earth & Beasts)

3. Zephyris (The Region of Ice & Storms)

Each person in this world was bonded to a Beastborne, a spirit beast that was born one month after them. These creatures were not mere animals—they were extensions of the soul, living embodiments of power.

At the age of nine, a person would undergo the Beast Synchronization Ceremony, merging their essence with their beast. From that point forward, their power and destiny were tied together.

Once a warrior unlocked 30% of their beast's potential, they would undergo their first Transformation—a fusion of human and beast, granting them immense strength. But only the greatest warriors could awaken their full Beast Ascendance—a power that could rival the gods themselves.

A Rival Watches from Afar

On the outskirts of the Tenma estate, a boy stood on the rooftops, watching the sky burn with golden fire. His sharp violet eyes narrowed, reflecting the phoenix's radiant glow.

His name was Raizen Varos.

His own Beastborne, a Stormfang Dragon, had been born just two months ago. Unlike others, Raizen already trained daily, pushing himself beyond his limits, determined to grow stronger. But now, watching the flames in the sky, he clenched his fists.

"A phoenix…?" Raizen whispered. "So, this is the beast of the Tenma heir?"

He turned away, his expression unreadable. Deep down, something burned within him—not fear, but something else.

Determination. Rivalry. A promise to surpass him.

A Warning from the Past

Back inside the estate, Rei Tenma stood before the newborn phoenix, studying it carefully. The beast stared back at him, as if testing him. He had seen many powerful warriors in his life, but this child—his son—was different.

"Your Beast is unlike any other," Rei said softly, placing a hand on his son's forehead. "A creature of rebirth and fire… but also destruction."

Aya looked up, concern in her tired eyes. "What are you saying?"

Rei exhaled, his eyes dark with memory. "There are stories—ancient tales of warriors who could not control the Phoenix's power. Some were consumed by their flames. Others… became something else entirely."

Silence hung between them. Aya held her son closer.

"Then we must ensure he does not walk that path," she whispered.

Rei nodded, but deep down, he knew one thing—this boy would either become the strongest warrior this world had ever seen… or he would be its undoing.

The Prophecy of the Phoenix

Outside, the flames in the sky finally began to fade. But the people of Solara would never forget this night—the night a child was born with the power to change fate itself.

But far beyond the city, hidden in the shadows of the Abyssal Order, a cloaked figure watched through an enchanted mirror. The hooded figure traced their fingers across the glass, watching the sleeping infant and the phoenix by his side.

"The Phoenix has been born again…" a raspy voice whispered. "If he reaches his full potential… the world will burn."

As Kairo slept in his mother's arms, his tiny hand clenched into a fist. The phoenix beside him let out a soft cry, its eyes glowing with an untamed fire.

The legend of the Phoenix had begun.
