During his life, Agamuro suffered a lot. At birth, he lost his mother. In his teens, his father disown making him an orphan. He was called a cursed child because of his bad luck and the deaths of people around him. In the end, at the age of 21, he decided to take his own life with a knife. He held the knife in his hand, pointing it toward his neck.
"This is the end of my journey," Agamuro said to himself.
He closed his eyes, and without a second thought, he took his own life.
Suddenly, he was teleported into a dimension called ARAN.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS PLACE?" he said to himself, astounded.
The place was indeed a mystery. It was an exact replica of a modern city, but the skies were red and caged with magical chains. Agamuro spotted a local guy and approached him to ask about this place. The man was wearing full red-plated armor, with long braided hair.
"Hello, sir. If you don't mind, what is this place? I suddenly ended up here when I was trying to take my own life," Agamuro asked, wearing an innocent smile to hide his fear. Agamuro was not a socially awkward person, but he had been discriminated against by his own community.
The man looked Agamuro up and down and replied,
"Oh! This place is a new dimension parallel to the normal one. It is called by different names—some people call it ARAN, while another ethnicity calls it KASKODAMI. Look, kid, the people who are teleported here are those who tried to end their lives due to their life problems. So, everyone here is suicidal. Also, this place is not normal. When you are teleported here, you are granted a set of powers called ARK."
He spoke with a frown.
"Also, I am Urihami. You can call me Uri," he said in a casual tone with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Urihami. I am Agamuro. You can call me whatever you want," Agamuro replied respectfully.
"So, sir, what are the different ethnicities?"
"Oh, it's... The ethnicity that calls this dimension ARAN is called ELPAT, and the ethnicity that calls this place KASKODAMI is called KARASMATHI," Urihami explained with a poker face.
For some reason, Agamuro felt uneasy about Urihami. He wanted to end the conversation and leave.
"Okay, brother, I gotta go," Agamuro said hurriedly, forcing a smile to hide his discomfort.
"What's the hurry?" Urihami asked mischievously.
As it turned out, Urihami had planned to kill Agamuro. He summoned his sword out of thin air and, in a flash, swung it at the speed of light.
