Hello Dr. Ross,
It has been a while, I hope that you are doing well.
Even though I have already been informed of my acceptance into the study, I felt the need to write a letter for formality's sake, as everyone else who is applying was meant to do a letter as well.
I hope I can demonstrate to you something worthy of your research, and we can really come to an acceptable conclusion to your hypotheses.
I have always been fascinated by your work, so to be able to finally be a part of it is one of the greatest honors anyone could have ever bestowed upon me.
Besides this premature acceptance, I hope to not be coddled whatsoever during the study, even if it means my death.
I believe that by adding me to the equation, I will open up a different perspective to your research, as no one of my standing has been allowed to participate before.
Then we can finally see if there is something beyond our control that can truly decide the outcome of our choices, or if it was all just superfluous interpretations of a pattern that was never there in the first place; let us hope it is not the latter.
In sum, I am grateful, excited, and anticipating a breakthrough in our understanding of the world once this year's trial is over.
Also, I heard that you have something interesting planned for this year… I have truly picked a great year to participate it seems. Or is it because I am here that you decided to change it? Either way, I trust your judgment.
Best,
Trevor
