One Year Later – A Luxurious Manor
"AHHHH!!!"
Tatyana's screams of agony echoed through the grand chamber. She clenched the silken sheets beneath her as waves of unbearable pain crashed over her. Three figures stood beside her—Dr. Ava, the ever-calm and composed physician, and two nurses, Anna and Eve, their expressions torn between worry and awe.
Dr. Ava, positioned between Tatyana's legs, remained unfazed. "Lady Tatyana, breathe. Push. The head is already visible."
Tatyana gasped between ragged breaths, sweat glistening on her flawless skin. "WHY THE HELL DOES IT HURT THIS MUCH!? I'M A DAMNED CULTIVATOR—THIS SHOULDN'T EVEN BE POSSIBLE!"
Dr. Ava adjusted her gloves and replied in her usual even tone, "I told you before. When a woman gives birth, her body temporarily loses all cultivation. Otherwise, with your strength, you'd flatten the baby like a mountain under a boulder."
Tatyana bit her lip, cursing under her breath. It made sense, but it didn't make it any easier. She hadn't expected the very heavens to rebel against her body like this, punishing her for bringing life into the world through unnatural means. Using pure Yin and Yang energy to conceive a child had gone against the natural order, and now, she was paying the price.
But she wasn't about to let the heavens win. With a flick of her wrist, she summoned a tiny, shimmering pill from her spatial ring and swallowed it. It was a special concoction she had personally crafted to fool the celestial laws, allowing her to endure only the residual punishment rather than the full force of divine wrath.
And then… the battle of wills began.
For three grueling hours, Tatyana fought against the pain, her screams shaking the very foundation of the manor. Her beautiful face twisted in agony, yet she refused to break. And then—
A sharp cry pierced the air.
Tatyana's body slumped with exhaustion, but her crimson eyes widened with an emotion she hadn't felt in centuries. Pure, unfiltered joy.
Her baby. Her little meatbun had finally arrived.
As her cultivation returned, healing her battered body, she reached out with trembling hands. A nurse gently placed the newborn in her arms, and the moment Tatyana laid eyes on her, her heart clenched.
She was perfect.
Midnight-black hair framed a tiny, delicate face, skin like the softest silk, pale with a hint of rosiness. Her chubby cheeks looked so irresistibly plush that Tatyana had the absurd urge to bite them. The baby was still asleep, her breathing gentle and steady.
As she cradled her child, a strange sensation brushed against her palm. Frowning slightly, Tatyana shifted her grip. Her meatbun was latched onto her breast, drinking with blissful ignorance—but there was something against her hand.
Her gaze darkened in suspicion.
Carefully, she adjusted the baby's position, turning her slightly to inspect her lower back.
The room fell into stunned silence.
Before their eyes, something began to grow.
At first, it was just a small protrusion, black and scaly. Then, as if responding to some unseen force, it elongated at an alarming speed. The first half remained jet black, but the other half...
Turned gold.
The four women watched in utter speechlessness as the newborn now sported a half-black, half-golden tail.
Tatyana's lips twitched. "Dr. Ava," she said in a deceptively calm voice, "is it normal for babies to grow tails after birth?"
Dr. Ava, who had seen nearly everything in her long career, simply adjusted her glasses. "No."
Silence.
Tatyana turned back to the window, staring at the starry sky as if searching for answers. A tail. Her daughter had a tail.
Fine. That was manageable.
She exhaled, deciding to thoroughly inspect her meatbun to ensure there were no further surprises. Carefully, she trailed her eyes down—only for her breath to halt.
Her gaze locked onto a certain area.
Her mind stalled.
"...Nurses," she finally spoke, voice oddly distant. "Tell me… is it normal for my daughter to have a… small extra appendage above her privates?"
The blonde nurse, Anna, visibly paled. She swallowed hard, stammering, "L-Lady Tatyana, th-that's a… a p-p-penis."
Her sister, Eve, simply stared at the extraordinary sight before them, utterly dumbfounded.
Tatyana turned back toward the window and reflected deeply on her life choices.
Meanwhile, her little meatbun suddenly stopped drinking, lifted her tiny head, and tapped her mother's shoulder twice, as if offering comfort.
Even the ever-serious Dr. Ava's usually unreadable expression twitched.
Tatyana hesitantly looked down again.
This time, what greeted her were the most mesmerizing golden eyes she had ever seen.
They were brilliant, glowing like twin suns, with an exotic touch—around her slit pupils, delicate veins of red branched out like fine roots, creating an otherworldly, breathtaking effect.
Anna and Eve gasped in admiration. "She's… beautiful."
Tatyana snapped out of her daze and met their eyes with an unwavering gaze. Her voice was firm, commanding. "Listen well. I don't care if you speak freely within this house, but no word of this leaves these walls. Her dual-gendered nature and tail will remain a secret. If anyone outside learns of this before she is ready, I will personally end them. Do you understand?"
The three women straightened, their expressions serious. "As Lady Tatyana commands!"
Anna clenched her fist, determination burning in her blue eyes. If anyone dares to look down on our little miss in the future, they will answer to me.
Tatyana turned to Dr. Ava. "Prepare the nourishing elixirs I brought back. I want her body fortified from the start."
Dr. Ava nodded. Lady Tatyana went all out… These resources will make the child nearly immune to illness and condition her body for peak cultivation.
Then, Tatyana turned to the nurses. "From now on, you two will be her personal maids. If anything or anyone threatens her, you kill without hesitation. Understood?"
The sisters grinned fiercely. "Understood, Lady Tatyana! We will protect the little miss with our lives."
Tatyana finally let herself relax.
Looking down at her baby, she traced a gentle finger across the tiny, chubby cheek. A rare, breathtaking smile graced her lips.
Softly, she whispered, "From now on… you will be called Yasenia."
The newborn's glowing golden eyes curved into crescent moons. She giggled, her tiny hands curling around her mother's fingers.
And then, with an innocent, bubbling voice, she answered, "Aye!"
In that moment, every single heart in the room melted into a puddle.
