Chapter 1 - A Chance [1]

2000 years ago in the planet named Eldoria. There once lived a man who walked the path of chaos and covered the continents with the ashes of conflict and war. Through his arduous adventure, there came who followed his path to eradicate evil.

As they walked the mountain peaks, a large tower fell from the heavens along with monsters that ravaged the lands. Due to the unknown beings that attacked their land, he prepared along with his disciples for 6 months to bring down the tower and stop the world's destruction.

At the peak of the tower, he arrived at the throne of the king of destruction, Azraelon.

"Never had I thought a mortal would reach my confines. Introduce yourself mortal, I shall add it to my book of records after I shatter your convictions."

Azraelon stepped down from his throne and faced him.

"Maevos, remember it."

Maevos turned around and took two steps back and turned back to face him.

"Gladly"

Azraelon's crimson aura engulfed the tower but Maevos remained unfazed. He unleashed his golden-white aura in respect for his strength.

The two clashed, causing tremors inside the tower. His disciples, feeling uneasy after the chilling aura they felt, ran after their master. At the heat of their battle, Azraelon started to wear down for as Maevos stood still in front of him.

"Truly... you deserve the title."

"But..."

"I will not let it end like this."

Azraelon's core started to fluctuate and expand aggressively.

As Maevos immediately knew of the situation, his disciples entered without knowing what's to come.

His body, tired from the battle, created one last effort to evacuate his followers from the tower.

"Everybody, I'm sorry."

His followers were pushed back by an immense force, enough to fly them through the tower walls all the way outside. They watched as the large tower in front of them explode in a dark red energy, erasing every part of the ground it stood from along with the tower.

"No!"

After standing back, they immediately ran to where the tower once was, to where their master once was, yet, only a large hole remained.

A few months after the tower's fall, a portion of the followers accepted his death and took their own paths while those couldn't accept the truth, remained.

His devoted followers, trained their abilities to the absolute limit and ascended the heavens, eventually to be praised but, before they ascended, they had sealed the hole of where the tower once was.

2000 years later. The world has entered their modern era, along with the use of technology to compliment their own abilities. His followers, now praised as constellations along with the other unknown constellations, bestowed upon the people a system along with their inherent ability, which lead to the rise of the powerful clans and families that is feared all around.

"It's dark..."

"I can't see..."

At the bottom of the abyss that is currently sealed, he makes his stand.

"Is this supposed to be the underworld?"

Maevos explored through darkness, in hopes to find something, only to meet a wall of dirt and rocks.

"Where am I?"

He sat down, trying to recollect his memories. He opened his palm and gathered his internal energy at the middle.

Outside the sealed bottomless pit, researchers and journalists were taking records of the remnants that their ancestors left. A tomb stood at the middle of the seal along with the ancient letters that spelled "The Final Stand".

The guards that were keeping watch of the seal, felt the large energy rising from inside as the seal bursted open.

"Everybody! Get back!"

Smoke and dusts covered their sights. A few seconds later, a silhouette started walking closer to them. They readied their weapons but was immediately dismantled at his presence.

"W-what the? What is happening?"

The researchers and journalists, hiding behind the guards as they tried to assess the situation. Soon after, the sound of a foot step followed by a strong gust of wind that flew the dusts away. The wind was so strong to the point that the heavily armed guards, with the blessings from their respective constellations, almost blew them off the ground.

"Ah, sunlight!"
