Chereads / Make a vampire fall in love with me / Chapter 6 - Night 6: Earnest Wishes

Chapter 6 - Night 6: Earnest Wishes

Only the serpent, whom the LORD God had made, was more cunning than all the living creatures of the field.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Doth God verily say, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

But the serpent said unto the women, Ye shall not surely die, but ye shall have wisdom and everlasting life.

  The woman obeyed.

  My heart.

What a little wish I had a long, long time ago.

"I ... want to see my dad."

Niditra was silent, she had known what Yvonne would say and let the naive girl in front of her speak.

"Is it ridiculous that I want to see someone who is dead, knowing that there is no longer a chance, unless I also die and go to heaven."

"Poor little girl, there is no need for you to be sorry now, I can help you. For you have sworn your loyalty to the Oath to me, the Wizard of Niditra."

"Will my father and I really be able to see each other as long as I accomplish what you have given me?" Evina was desperate for an answer, she was so eager to see her father, she was only two years old when he passed away.

"More than just meeting, I don't think you'll be satisfied with just meeting." Niditra recited some strange incantation again, as she had done earlier.

The dirty running water became a fuzzy wall of water.

"Daddy ... Daddy, Daddy! I'm Nana, I'm Evina, please, look at me!"

Evina cried out anxiously, her tail end trembling with incredible surprise.

She saw it, it was her father, the man who was handsome in the old photographs, the man she admired most.

She reached out to touch it, but the moment she did, the image disappeared.

No, Daddy don't go, don't leave her again. Even if it's an extravagant request, she wants to be reunited with him in heaven. God, please.

"Listen, Evina. Stop sniveling, you can't get anything done like that." Niditra was visibly bored, stupid human beings, it was having so many emotions that slowed down evolution.

"What you have to do is simple." Niditra smiled grimly.

"Find the man who can get you out of here, and then, make him fall in love with you."

  ***

"It's impossible ... I can't do it." Evina's voice was as thin as a mosquito.

"Hmph, I would have thought you would have accepted it gladly, even if it was for the sake of your father, don't you want a quicker reunion with him?" Niditra narrowed her wrinkled eyes and took a step closer to the confused Evina.

"You have no right to wander, and you have even less right to retreat!" Niditra had stepped in front of her, his dry old face slowly approaching the startled figure.

Seeing that Evina didn't respond. Niditra was annoyed and fuming with threats.

"Even if you are so timid, cowardly, and ignorant of the love of men and women, yet, come to your senses! If you don't approach him, seduce him, and gain his right to release you! you will never be able to escape from here! And if that's the case, say goodbye to the sun for good while you can, you'll never see the light again ..."

"No, I could never do that." She couldn't even hold her head up in front of a strange man, let alone ... seduction!

"If I kick you out of here now, I can guarantee that it won't be long before a vampire shows up. The scent of a human is the most voracious for them, let alone a wonderful young woman like you."

"I ... will hide and hide until the day I die of old age. Use time to wash away my sins and die so I can go to heaven." Evina knew her words were childish, but she would never listen to Niditra. Temptation, what a lowly thing, and her pride was the first to say 'no'.

"It's just a shame your beautiful face can't wait for the day of aging." A dry hand rippled with clear tendons as it gently stroked Yvonne's face.

"Here, there is no time, no age, no sunshine, just one, fallen heart."

Vampires are given eternal life, but it's eternal torment, God's harshest discipline.

For the disobedient, and the guilty, shall perish together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be destroyed.
