For example, If he is only divine favor, Kai could had a divine protection and divine ability, like the divine protection of heat and divine abilities of illusion.
While being a blessed will give you a little bit of authority from your Gods. And like the divine favor you'll also gain a divine protection, ability, and a talents.
It will be nice if Kai could become a divine blessed, he would had a divine talent and protection, but becoming a apostle of gods will not give him that kind of benefits instead.
The apostle of a God, could only gain a connection with the God itself and had partial control about his Gods symbolism and authories while also gaining much more divinity than a blessed and a favor could got.
